3am's nickname is the witching hour because it's considered an evil hour. If you have a normal bedtime routine, say 11:30pm-8am, you go into REM sleep at around 3am. Now, imagine being in the 1800's and getting sleep paralysis, having no explanation at that time. The beliefs aronud 3am being evil stem from that, where people "see creatures" at night in their room with them. Hope this helped!
People didn’t go to bed so late in the 1800s at all….. that would have been a very uncommon sleeping schedule. Plus the number 3 was seen as a representation of the perversion of the holy trinity as evil was done at night. Some specific myths and legends like succubi/incubi can likely be traced back partially to incidents of sleep paralysis (at least it’s theorized), the witching hour really has nothing to do with it

It is really neat to see how much things have improved/changed compared this original game. The "fixing anomaly" screen is definitely one of the most noticeable, along with the wider camera views in the later games. I hope the developer creates even more unique locales in games to come (cemetery maybe?).

Hey just a kitty tip. If you can leave the bag out for as many days as possible and put cat nip or treats in it randomly so he can go in and get the treats and get out. It’ll teach him the bag isn’t a scary trap and rather a comforting place. Over time the bag will gain more positive association than negative. It’ll also give him a safe place while at the vet. I just leave my kittys carrier out like a bed for my kitty. Makes the few vet visits way easier.

If people are still having trouble with their cat getting nervous about the carrier, try leaving the carrier out and playing around it. We've trained our boys to nap in there. We even close the door and carry them around the house or just stand by the car. Jackson Galaxy tips really helped us out.

I also love those moments where you talk to your viewers about what's going on with BB, your life, etc. It's nice to know how you're going. Thank you to the editor who's also cutting this video down to not make it too long but also for leaving those parts where you talk about things.
Omg a Prop Hunt style Observation Duty sounds so fun!! Two sides: An Observer and Anomalies. The Observer walks around the room and has to find out what's different.
The Anomalies can choose an object to move/manipulate/change, or other anomalies like abyss/light anomaly, ghost, intruder, etc. They choose before the match starts, and only one person can be one type of anomaly at a time (ex. No more than 1 intruder, or 1 changed painting, or 1 abyss), and rather than them all being present in the map at the start, there's a delay in which they're put into the game. Rather than becoming a copy of an item like in Prop Hunt, players on the Anomaly side become the items they choose. I think "Item Disappearance" would have to be removed as a choice for this reason, so they'd have to find the object to report it. There would also have to be some kind of restrictions on where items can move so players can't hide in unviewable areas, maybe.
Players are locked into their Anomaly choice until found and reported (maybe the Observer walks around with a clipboard or walkie-talkie haha), but once found, they can choose another anomaly to be! This is mostly to keep there from being too many Intruders, because of course players would want to be one haha.
The Observer's job is to keep reporting Anomalies until the time is up, or until there are too many Anomalies. There's "Too Many Anomalies" when ALL Anomalies have been put on the map and some time has elapsed. Once that chunk of time has elapsed, all Anomalies become random Intruders/Ghosts and chase down the Observer muahahaha
Bonus: If a player chooses to be an Intruder-type Anomaly, they have an Attack Ability capable of killing the Observer. The Intruder is invisible and this Attack ability is locked until the Observer enters the room, at which point the Anomaly becomes visible and able to attack if the Observer gets too close!
I'm not a game designer by any means, but there's so many cool potential for this idea!

Oh hey! If that spray for BB is Feliway then it should work, it’s basically a pheromone that is excreted by calm and happy cats, it seriously helped a lot when I moved my cats to the Netherlands!

Its so funny how accross different streams of OD you were gushing on about food, cheese, chocolate, coffee hahaha
Also about the variations in what could be another OD game, I feel like what would be really fun would be multiplayer in more of a coop sense where one player is cams and player 2 is the "anomaly fixer" running around rooms and picking out the anomalies that player 1 calls out ( no screen sharing so just relying on good communication ). Maybe player 2 has a tranq gun he needs to aim at intruders and bag them up and dispose of them after XD
I don't know what happened with the cam, but Gab's hand at 2:05 is an anomaly. I had to rewind twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things haha. Thanks for the video, Observation Duty games are great!

Duuuude I saw Interview with the Vampire before I know who Tom cruise and Brad Pitt were 😂 It was such an experience at 13, I was so obsessed with the movie, it drew me in. Still love it, now also for nostalgia's sake.

My degree is in events management but my college was originally a culinary school, so the students ran the cafeteria and we’d get all of their fancy dishes and desserts for like $3-5 since it was for practice. It was a really cool concept so that way they can cook a ton and the dishes didn’t go to waste.

Thank goodness we got to see the intruder in the bathroom well!! That was the best part of the game! My friends, family and I wish you weren't so scared of the intruders and ghosts and would actually show them. You cluck away so very fast! We like watching you better than markiplier and secret sleepover society, you're funnier and your editing is on point. It's just extremely regretful that you click away so extremely fast when there's a ghost or intruder! We all could give you a thumbs up and subscribe and follow if you didn't click away so fast. It's hard to pause it in time, then it doesn't show what their doing. 😢😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔

Feliway cat spray is a spray that mimics the calming "This is a safe place" pheromones that Queening Cat emits for her kittens and shouldn't smell for people, Pet Remedy is a herbal calming spray so it smells (not bad, just smells) when I worked at Pets at Home we would use the pet remedy diffusers in our Quiet room out back for animals given up for adoption.

Liking curtain foods you used to dislike is rather normal as our bodies have a lot of bacteria and certain types of yeast such as candida (a normal bacteria that's part of our body) can fluctuate and change what we desire and change the chemistry of our bodies, e.g. eating a say 2kg of lollies can cause candida to over grow, it'll make our veins less acidic, make use more prone to stress to also reduce our bodies acidic nature which allows candida to grow more, it'll grow on our tongues and cause us to desire carbs / sugary / lactose saturated foods, and will lower our desire to consume fatty foods specially since acidic veins are required to break down fats and consuming fats will make produce more acids which break down the fat and kill off candida.
Candida can also make us more prone to allergies as well, on top of feeling tired and several other side effects which why a lot of people feel so much better on keto diets as it returns their micro-biomes back to normal.
Unfortunately due to the average diet in our era we're more prone to allergies than that of humans a thousand years ago, a prime example of that is fragrances, we enjoy them however our immune system is constantly fighting off all the histamines that are in them, colognes, spray on, shampoo, conditioners, soaps, make up, all extremely high in histamines that stress our immune system, none of which humanity was largely exposed to a thousand years ago.

51:08 my dog, Winchester, gets nervous poops before vet appointments, too! I usually try to get him to poop as much as possible in the grass by the vets to keep him from pooping in petsmart but once he managed to poop directly on the sliding door frame bottom. I had to keep the door open to clean it up so that it didn't smear lol.

Hey Gab! I do the same thing where I tend to only read fiction because a lot of non-fiction just doesn't do it for me. But the one non-fiction novel I read that actually was really entertaining and gripping was 'Memoirs of a Geisha'. Also 'Dances with Wolves' is not bad, but it takes some patience so the movie might be preferable.
If anyone else had some really amazing non-fiction that might interest those with short attention span like myself, please share!
Sometimes historical fiction hits the spot right between fiction and non fiction if you ever desire. It's a fun time!

Try some desensitization with BB! Getting him used to the carrier first then the carrier being closed then moving in the carrier (not leaving the house) then progressing from their! It’ll improve his confidence too!

If you end up liking Interview with a Vampire, you should try Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff!! Story is told in an interview way but you get the classic scary dangerous vampires in it. The boom though is a chonk 😂
