    I just got my 50 liter one delivered today! Normal price was $424.99, but it had the ‘lightning’ deal on Amazon of $136 off, and an additional coupon for $85 off, so I got it for $203.99 plus sales tax. Total I paid was $216.23!! THATS UNHEARD OF for a dual zone 12 volt fridge of this size. I’m VERY pleased with the purchase and hopefully it serves my family well!

    Been lookking car fridges/freezeers at amazon all day. I'm opting for this one exactly at is the only one with the option of dual zone temps, having one big zone, and it's not more than 400 USD. Anyway, one reaaaaallly good review mate, thanks a lot as you already helped me to resolve like 3 or 4 questions. great job, keep it up!

    I have to say that's a pretty good little setup. Never thought of a refrigerating cooler before. Be awesome for car camping.

    I think having some items in the unit will make the temperature more consistent (at least half full). Once it reaches the desired temp, the mass of the items inside will hold the temperature as it cycles on and off, and after the lid is opened.

      Very good point! They say a well stocked freezer/frig uses less energy for that very reason. Thanks for watching!!

    I bought one around 6 months ago. I personally don't care for it. But you get what you pay for. Don't like because when you open for fridge you also open freezer to.

    My cat turns mine off all the time. I put two pieces of cardboars on the buttons, but now the fridge side doesnt work at all. The bluetooth stopped working after a month. Now I gotta figure out where to trash it. It cost me more in groceries than I paid for it. Going to just deal with a large mini fridge in my truck. They're a lot cheaper.

    Your thermometer is correct, this claims to be able to reach -4f, but when I tested at 70f room temperature, the lowest it can get is 11f. I'm guessing it's actually how much difference between environment temperature and inside temperature it can make.

    Great review! I was wondering now that you've had it for a while if you were to pre-cool it on 120 volt for 24 hours and then plug it into your jackery on eco mode what the average watt consumption would be? I noticed the lowest you had was 26 Watt and wondering if you see lower than that once it's been cool for a while. But I think you sold me on this one

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings  8 місяців тому +2

      I have precooled it quite a few times and it definitely helps with consumption, especially in the summer. I haven't checked consumption though after doing that. Good thing is though this Bodega is still going strong, we keep it in wifeys car and it's used weekly. Thanks for watching!!

    Do you still have this unit ? Works ok in fridge mode. In dual mode, started having trouble again, raised fridge side all the way to max, 68 degrees F, actual temp. gets to 30 degrees F. It's been running for days , so it's had plenty of time to stabilize. Tech support states, " temperature difference is within the normal range. " Seems like something is wrong.

      Thanks for watching! I’ve used mine on probably 12 to 15 camping trips since my review and all is well. Probably anywhere from 2 to 4 days at a time. It also did about a week long stint in my house when our freezer went down. All good so far!

    Can anybody tell me the purpose of the wire cage that comes with most of these fridges? is it mostly for prepacking in a home fridge to load the 12 volt one easier? Or required to help with cooling by leaving the walls of the 12 volt fridge with an air gag? Thanks!

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings  2 роки тому +3

      The cage or basket is the feature we love the most actually! We load the cages up by the main frig at home then just carry them to the cooler. Saves my back from lifting a fully loaded cooler! Plus makes it very handy for knowing exactly what will fit in the frig. Thanks for watching!!

    How is it holding up? I just got one & it worked for about one hour. I touched the lid & the lcd screen went black & will not turn back on. The USB charger & the interior light still work, but not the compressor & control panel. I am waiting to hear back from the manufacturer. Have you had this issue or have any suggestions? Thanks

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings  2 роки тому

      Ours is holding up well actually. We've used it quite a few times for camping trips as well as hauling it in the car for road trips. We also had it set up for about a week for extra frig space at home over the holidays. Never experienced the issue you're describing. Hope yours works out ok! I'm sure Amazon or Bodega will make it right.

    Curious on how it’s working for you up to this date . I just ordered one, I was getting an iceco but my dad has the iceco so I wanted something different and cheaper just to compare. How’s it been so far for you with this unit ? And do both sides freeze ? Or only the right side ?

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings  3 роки тому +4

      Hi Edwin. We've used it 4 or 5 times now for camping trips and road trips and so far so good. Only the right side will freeze but I haven't tried pulling the center yet to see if both sides will. I suspect they would though. Overall we've been very pleased with this one so far. Thanks for watching!

      @@HillbillyMusings This is what I was wondering also? Can it be used as 1 big freeze or fridge with the center removed? Sometimes we don't need a freeze (or fridge) so it would be nice to remove the center and have one big open space.

    I just bought this T50 six weeks and twice have had 3 dashes come up on the refrigerator screen. Ambient temperature this time 61, ambient temperature last time 75. There is nothing on the troubleshooting guide or manual about how to fix. Worse. They literally have NO customer service. The only way to get in touch is by email, and they do not respond. I advise people not to buy from this company.
