    Have you tried to thread the adjustable end in a reverse manner so that the tail is on the exterior rather than the inside? I’m thinking that would allow a better degree of on the fly adjustment. Your thoughts?

    a small batch of M15 and M36s were made in stainless steel and highly polished. people thought they were nickeled. after that the M60 came out. later in the 80s the M67 ( stainless M15) came out. your was made after 1982( barrel is not pinned) , and has a beefed up top strap so you can put +Ps in it. nice gun.

    I would LOVE to have that. I usually carry a snub in my pocket. and the M37 would be nice. but I never see one for sale. have to contend with my M642. the M37 with an aluminum cylinder was made for trials and called the Baby Aircrewmen. they released them to the public as the airweight. then recalled them and replaced the cylinder with steel ones and sent them back to the customers.

    My problem with this for home defense. If you experience an intrusion, it is more than likely going to be from a group of perps. The gangs run in packs. AND many - if not all - in the pack will have semi-autos like Glocks with > 15 rounds available without reload. You will have 5 rounds against their 30 or more rounds. Not a good ratio unless you are a superb shot under stress. Watch the YT vids of cops in shootouts. They very often need > 5 rounds to stop a threat, and they are highly trained...

BTW when you say "hillbilly", from where do you hail? I myself was raised and taught respect in West By God Virginia. Also, acquiring "lots" of ammo now that 410 is pretty available.

    Yes, do a video. We own a .32 H & R . It is a Saturday night special. H & R made guns that were practical and not overpriced. Kinda like comparing a Cadillac vs. a Chevy or Ford. ( Back when prices were NOT ridiculous) I hope this makes sense.. it's a practical gun that will do what it was intended to do..

    12:29 I'm noticing a problem with turning the cylinder counterclockwise, the cylinder release latch gets caught up halfway. It's as if the cylinder isn't correctly locked. However, when turning clockwise, the release latch does return to its full rest position. Does the whole rotating issue have more to do with what position the release latch is in?

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings 24 дні тому

      Not from what I can tell, it's mostly due to how it indexes and locks in place. I've noticed that since I did this video that quite a few others have spotted this issue and pointed it out in videos. They all say it still "works" as it will fire on that round but it's definitely not designed to do this. Maybe S&W will comment or something at some point. Thanks for watching!!

    Do you still have this unit ? Works ok in fridge mode. In dual mode, started having trouble again, raised fridge side all the way to max, 68 degrees F, actual temp. gets to 30 degrees F. It's been running for days , so it's had plenty of time to stabilize. Tech support states, " temperature difference is within the normal range. " Seems like something is wrong.
