@kat3217 It's not a "condition." It's a very normal way that many people's nails naturally grow, myself included. It just doesn't happen to be aesthetically pleasing to traditional standards of beauty, so most of us file the edges slightly to make them straighter. Beyond personal preference, there's absolutely nothing wrong with them. ❤
If the nails are growing out like that it could* be an underlying medical condition or poor diet maybe. Just saying because this doesn't really look normal to me
Nails can also flare out because they expand and contract in water on a daily basis. If you have them polished back to back so there's a hard layer of polish, they don't do this and they look less flared relative to any natural flare you have. I noticed flared ends years ago, but not anymore as I started wearing polish constantly because it's fun.

My natural nails look like this too!!!! I cut like a millimeter from the sides vertically so that they look like the "average" shape for a more feminine look, which is what I personally look for.

Just a little tip for painting your nails: Don’t push/apply the nail polish to the very edge of your nail, leave a little gap between the skin and the edge of the nail, this helps the nail breathe and creates the illusion of a thinner and longer nail. Hope this helps 🤗

My nails are like this too. When they grow out though they get into a tight c curve. When they’re wet they get like this though. I feel it😅 but that’s just how they are! Beautiful and natural
@@Yamzki37 for me it’s my middle fingers 😩 😩 the rest of my nails I’m able to grow so long and nicely and my middle finger nails just do their own thing!!
It's amazing how much good shaping can make a difference in the appearance of our nails, fingers and hands. Especially in nails of this length, long enough to shape but not so long as to show severe growth direction issues, like ski slope nails or those that grow pointing down. Nail prep is at least 50% of the time I spend doing my nails, and that includes shaping.

Natural nails all look different. Mine grows in a 90s curve. They are as hard as fake nails.
If your natural nails are curved, it’s called clubbing and happens in stages. It’s typically an indicator of lung disease, so please get checked out.
