I’m glad you loved EEAAO and CODA . I always hold my breath when people talk about those two. I just love them both.
I don’t begrudge Robert Downy Jr an Oscar but he’s definitely fifth place in that lineup for me. The least interesting and memorable of the five .

@kellie-nd1yp They truly are two fantastic films! EEAAO will always be a favorite of mine.
The longer this past years ceremony ages, I think Ruffalo and Gosling were so much more memorable than Downy Jr. I'm not upset him as a person won though.

@@WizKlafka I have Gosling first .I wasn't a fan of Poor Things but Ruffalo stands out for me.DeNiro and Brown also made an impression.
EEAAO is an all timer.

I went through the same journey as you and at the end I coudn't return to and enjoy action films. This includes Dune. Do you feel as though your experience has changed you?

I don't think it changed my taste at all. Horror and coming of age are still my two favorite genres. Action was always a bit lower on my list of favorite genres, so that might something else too.
