- Before playing the role of Otto Octavius in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “Spider-Man 2,” Alfred Molina made his American TV debut as the unnamed attorney for Esther Nevin, widow of deceased reggae artist Robillard Nevin in the episode "The Big Thaw" of the series Miami Vice.
From Miami Vice Season 4 Episode 4 “The Big Thaw”: Two groups battle over possession of a dead reggae singer's frozen body, with Izzy caught in the middle.

Shout out to the official Miami vice UA-cam channel for reading the room and seeing that everybody is very much into Alfred molina and we're in the Renaissance for thirsty content surrounding him and is owning him and noticing that they can capitalize upon this and get clicks from UA-cam algorithm. Very intelligent ...
After living in Miami, he moved to New York, studied science, fought a masked spider and traveled to another universe.
You forgot to mention that he went back in time to the 1930s to cheat a whip cracking, fedora wearing archeologist
😂😂😂
he's so fine in here
I knooow! So handsome!
Alfred Molina came a long way, I still wanna watch Spider-Man: No Way Home.
I'd watched Miami Vice a dozen times over the past 17 years from DVD to Blu-ray. I had forgotten Alfred Molina appeared on here, but probably because it was one of the forgettable fourth season episode.
I like this episode! I thought it was a satire on Bob and Rita Marley! 😺
@@blackpeter70 BP 70 ............that's the way I remember it !!!!!!!
@@dannycalley7777 👍🏻😼Right on!
Before there was Doc Ock
There was still a Doc Ock
I know a lot of people don’t like this episode, but Izzy is very funny, and I like Jan Hammer’s music. 😎
One of the worst episodes of MIAMI VICE. By season 4, the once red hot series was as cold as the Rasta 🌴🧊 🥶
Alfred looks like he hardly ages haha
Very cool...there was nothing like Miami Vice...an endless amount of surprises. 🌴☀😎
Is it his first US TV appearance? He'd already been in Raiders Of the Lost Ark quite a few years before. He must have done something in-between...
This was 1987, that was 1981 and it was a movie. Yes, he was on TV, but not American TV.
How about Raiders of the Lost Ark? He was the guy at the beginning of the movie when Indiana Jones fled out of the arrow storm.
Adios Sapito....
One of my favorite episodes and hilarious. I love the humor and the ending.
3:42 Castillo rubbing his eyes and checking his watch in the background 😆
This was an utterly ridiculous episode but because it was Miami Vice and as such, will forever hold a special place :>)
Switek shot a TV set, Legba shot a TV set, this one shoots a TV set, Neil McCauley breaks a picture window in the movie Heat, detective in Manhunter jumps through a picture window, Tom Cruise shoots windows everywhere in the office building going after Max the cad driver in Collateral. What's up with Michael Mann's obsession of such destruction techniques 😁😁😁😁! Did I miss anything else? 😁
I love the comedy in this one, e.g. Alfred Molina and the "grieving" widow while Switek is dragging the capsule behind them! 😂 You can almost hear Castillo's ulcers sizzling in this one!
My favorite show all time Miami vice
Strange episode but not terrible come missing hours. 😑
Man,I know people hate this episode (with reason)but i think this episode is one of the most funny in MV seasons and this season was in his majority so boring...for me this episode "save" a little bit this season 04!🤣🤣🤣
That’s how it is here in South Florida. 🤣😂
Miami vice expetacular seriado oss
Second time on Vice somebody shot a TV set.
Money 😏
I know this is probably one of the worst episode I’ve watched but I really love Crockett’s Clothes, really 80’s.
My favorite SONNY'S T-shirt.
falta em português Brasil
Worst episode ever
I agree, the fact that they did a whole frozen dead man inside a cyrogenetic chamber and the acting here were terrible. They’ve could’ve done better.
How about the one where James Brown played an alien?
@@kleptrep94 🤦🏾♂️
Wasn't there one where Crockett got shot, and it was all flashbacks while he was in the hospital?
I wonder if the stepping over the tube in the middle of the room inspired the construction going on in the squad room in the early episodes of Nash Bridges?
..and one day, he'd become a rich and famous man.
This is one of two episodes ("Missing Hours" being the other) where Miami Vice borders on science fiction. In 1987 no such cryogenic technology existed, though it had been theoretically proposed since the early 60s. Currently it does, but only in experimental form.
Would this have been around the time ownership of Mickey Mantle's frozen head was in dispute?
Also after not tossing Indiana Jones back the whip, and getting 37 holes in himself in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
HE WAS ON MIAMI VICE...I DIDNT EWEN KNOW HE LOOKS LIKEN ARAB
Raycell long for the win and Alfred
to nie ten sam klimat
-FOR MIAMI VICE TEAM: proposal of a scene to put, from the episode "God's work" (4th season). One of the first series on television to deal with the subject of AIDS. In fact it is the last scene, with the actor Esai Morales who plays the role of a gay man, (that his father refuses the orientation). The scene is both stylish, and emotional, as the actor plays with his gut, talking about the pain he has, and all this, cradled by a superb music of Jan Hammer. With the final that does justice, and the usual final credit "produced by Michal Mann"...I love it
Season?
Doc ock wasn't that evil
