DIY COMFORTABLE PALLET COUCH BUILT IN ONE HOUR - WITH SLOPING BACKREST

- Hey guys, today I'm going to show you how I built this pallet sofa from these three pallets. It should get there. Let's just start. First, I saw two of the three pallets directly behind the third crossbar, as you can see in the video. You can do this either with a hand-held circular saw or a jigsaw. I just did it with the Japan saw. This also gives a nice clean cut. This will be our seat. This is exactly how we saw it for our backrest. The cuts are exactly the same. Laid down provisionally, the sofa now looks like this. I just put a remnant in the back to see if the incline was okay or I want to choose another incline. Of course, that will go away later. Now I screw the seat onto my substructure. I do this with 8x260 pan head screws. You can buy them in any hardware store and keep them together pretty well. One is screwed into each foot and the construction is very stable. So, straighten up once. I can already look at the backrest at exactly what angle I want it to be. To do this, I put my board there again and check whether the incline is okay. If the inclination fits, I measure the length for my board. For this I can simply take my pallet remnants and cut the board out of it. In terms of length, it definitely fits. So I don't need to buy new wood. With a carpenter's angle, I draw the length exactly. You will soon see how I use this board. Simply cut apart with the Japan saw. I need the board three times. It may be that the lengths vary slightly, so it is better to measure each board individually. You can see exactly what I want to do. A clean cut and the nail can be easily knocked out with a hammer, that's no problem. Visually, that's okay. you can of course take new boards if you want. I thought I would then use the old pallet directly. Now I put the boards in the back. They are cut to length so that I have to tap them in lightly. You can see that it is not quite stable yet. Through the boards I screw in 6x80 screws again, through the back part into my seat pallet. Two on each side. And I also attach the board to my pallet block. I nail a curved flat iron to the basic pallet and to my backrest. This clearly stabilizes it again. It may look a little weird, but I've had the experience that it really holds up very well. I comb it out with comb nails and in the end it is a very stable sofa that can withstand a lot and is also very comfortable to sit on. Here you again in time lapse as I nail the irons. My three flat bars are attached and the pallet is actually finished. The sofa looks pretty cozy from the front in my opinion; if you want, you can of course grind it. In order to improve the constructive wood protection, I laid exposed concrete slabs on the grass area, where I will later put the sofa. This avoids wet contact with the earth. Otherwise, it can now stand alone and is really a clean thing. I enjoyed it. It took about an hour and now I can enjoy the end of the day.

Das werde ich 💪mir als Ecksofa nachbauen, somit haben auch die 🐶 🐶 was davon und die lästigen Stühle kommen weg 🙂 hab nämlich nur einen kleinen Balkon 😉

Nichts. Das splitter normal nicht wrklich. Kanndt aber noch abschleifen wenn du magst. Am besten mit Exzenter- oder Bandschleifer

Ist da aber auf eine etwas andere Art gelöst. Klappt meiner Meinung nach etwas besser, als Ich es damals in diesem Video gezeigt habe.
Ich suche wasserdichte Polster dafür, hat da jemand etwas gefunden?
naja.. 89° ist nicht wirklich schräg..
schneid bei den stützbrettern noch 2cm ab, dann haste schräg..
Allerdings brauch man 3 Paletten dazu. das Video suggeriert dem Unerfahrenen dass es nur 2 sind. Wenn Du das Rueckteil aus der unteren Palette machst und den "Rest" fuer die Erhoehung verwendest, brauchst Du nur 2 Paletten und das Ganze wird sogar leichter.
Servus, an mehreren Stellen im Video weise Ich darauf hin, dass drei Paletten benötigt werden. Gruß
