Actually there’s a filler story that. you’ve missed, before coming to dreams of the king, another man native to odisha’s ethnic gatherers community known as “shabara” named Bishwabasu was also commanded by the lord to go find his floating heart which was blue and then he and his group started worshipping the idol as “Neela Madhaba” in a secluded place where no one knew the directions to. Then upon getting to know about the news that there is this certain mesmerising idol being worshipped in his kingdom, the gajapati king Indradyumna asked one of his courtiers Bidyapati to go look for it. Bidyapati later ends up marrying Bishwabasu’s daughter Lalita, and asks his father in law to show him the deity that he so secretly worships. The Shabara king agreed but conditioned Bishwabasu to tie his eyes shut so that he doesn’t know the directions and location of lord Neelamadhava. Bidyapati cunningly took a bag of mustard seeds with a hole in it which fell all the way till the location, so that now when he comes back with the king Indradyumna he could easily figure out the location. The king and his courtier tried to take the idol to the temple he built in puri but were unable, and hence later the king later dreamt to go look for logs in the sea.
