When my workplace is descended upon by a carpet of the things (to where it requires skill not to step on any) every spring... I have learned to appreciate them.
i hope you have a video also of White Mesa coming up. that is vidoegenic for more tech add central spine to the ride instead of just doing the loop with the fantastic views from dragons back.
Sweet to see you ripping the local winter riding tracks two weeks in a row. Some other fun trails out there too. Can't wait until Red Mesa trails get a solid workover, gona be so much better for winter riding to have more technical trails.
@mikegeddie2263 sup man! It's Phil Ortiz from Strava. Yes, signage & markings so it's easier to follow the trails (which is the biggest problem there) & possibly add more trails & different lines to existing trails. They wana make the Stairway to Hell climb so it's more doable for most people to at least stay on their bikes too. That descent from the top of Stairway is incredible! Once I heel up from surgery I plan to help them with the project.
@@2Philthy oh sweet! Lol, I get lost in a straight line but I like the brutal climb. Hope you recover fast. I know what it’s like. I might have to get leg surgery depending on if they find a cyst in my lower leg.
Not sure if you rode it, but the High Voltage trail out in that area has a couple good techy lines just to add some character. You are right tho, you don't need a big bike out there
Much love for spiders. How about you?
absotively my dude
Spiders are our friends
HELL NAH....

Love spiders! I have done the same thing, including snakes 🐍. Just don't want them to get run over. Thanks for doing that on your ride!
Great to see my local trails on your channel. I may ride there today!
My old stomping grounds. ❤
I used to ride the Placitas every day before work when I lived in ABQ. That was my favorite trail system! Hope white mesa is next, or the Tijeras!!!

Excellent ride, just cruising!
Another nice one. Thanks Nate!
This is getting me super excited. I'm less than 24 hours away from heading down to Santa Fe. Hoping similar trail conditions.
Saving spiders, good work. 👍
Never knew there was another trail named Bobsled outside of SLC... we can't stop here this is spider country!
Motivation to keep the pedals turning, haha
@@adamweb only in the fall as the males are on the hunt for females, usually they stay put and you hardly see them.
I live 15 minutes from those trails. Only rode it one time into the sun. It's awesome in the morning though
Not being able to see makes things more interesting, lol
Nice FRESH FREERIDAY episode
