During 52, while Superman was powerless, Lex Luthor finds a way to grant everyday people superpowers. On New Years Eve, he simply presses a button and takes them away while people flew through the skies. They plummeted to their deaths while a powerless Superman had to watch.

Biggest problem with that is that your new villains will probably never match up to the classics. Who the hell remembers paragon, or the Insect Queen?
5:35 Lex was also responsible for creating Metallo in the DCAU when he infected John Corben with a virus then convinced him that turning him into a cyborg was the only way to save him. But it left Corben unable to feel anything and after Superman told him what Lex had done Metallo understandably tried to kill Lex.
I would love to see them do the top 10 most badass things Alfred pennyworth has done throughout the dc comic omnivers from injustice to the Death metal crisis to possible futures.

Comparing Lex with the Joker is fascinating because they represent two very different forms of evil. The Joker sees himself as an artist and an activist of anarchy. He is a nihilist who could care less if someone kills him so long as he spreads his ideology and beliefs to prove a point about his views on morality, or lack their of. Lex Luthor on the other hand is all about self preservation and outward respectability. He is a complete sociopath (think Patrick Bateman from American Psycho) whose only interest is to boost his own ego. Unlike the Joker who is actively against society Lex tries to manipulate and work WITH society for his own personal gain. Both could care less about human life but their motives are the complete opposite.
What about when Lex Luthor stole 40 cakes?
Why Lex is my favorite Supervillain of all time. Not even Joker can match him.

@@spideyfanw1748 I don't consider it bold. I like the Joker, but pound for pound, Lex is more dangerous than he is. Lex's spite against Superman tops the twisted love Joker has for Batman. Lex Luthor is called the world's most dangerous criminal mastermind for a reason. Lex has also mentally broken the Joker on more than one occasion. Joker once stole Lex's genius and was unable to handle it. Lex is DC's most dangerous Villain. He has to be, since he's the archnemesis of it's most powerful Hero.

There was so much pain and torture Lex did to Superman. He's such a Badass 😈
Lex has driven to rid the earth of his oldest and once friend Superman for it seems a few decades but these aren't all he has done he has tried to change history I seem to recall his efforts to alter time by travelling back to the days of Kal EL's arrival on earth then trying to rid the future of the Superman era but that course a chain of events that change even Lex's past to but eventually things were fixed well somethings this quite possibly coursed every crisis in the multivesres mainstream alongside recent events I think it is Lex who rewrote the reboots and his connection to one of many crimes in time a chain of crisises, Luther Factor he is there or his other selves that are part of each crisises?

Luther basically hates Superman because he’s an immigrant. Joker literally loves Batman and will do whatever he has to, to be the sole focus of him. Without ever really trying to kill Batman. That’s the difference. Joker>Luther
Not really in some of the older variants Lex Luthor is bald because of Superboy (Clark Kent) stepped in during a science experiment gone wrong resulting in him becoming bald after being hit with a laser.
Also Lex in several other variants has made several different nonconsensual clone/test tube children of him & Superman. So if anyone loves there arch nemesis to the level of psychotic stalker it’s Lex Luther.
