Partly because of their cool names and how they connected their types with #1, #2 and #3 makes these legendaries my personal favourites. Game Freak started running out of ideas quickly... take Raikou from Gen2, there's Raichu from Gen1... it's not exactly creative. Entei doesn't exactly grab the imagination either... but Suicune - that's a legendary!

The locations represent Pokemon go players on teams. Articuno, mystic, is at the end of a somewhat complicated maze. Moltres, Valor, is somewhat hidden at the toughest place trying to brag. Zapdos, instinct, is just sitting out in the open
I'm getting SO FUCKING angry of legends, everybody catch them in 1-20 pokeballs I LITTERLY try EVERYTHING and need to throw ALL of my ultraballs, and alllll my other pokeballs, and still can't catch it, I need to turn off power and turn on and then try again.. It tooks HOURS!!!!
Timer Balls helps when the battle took too much time. I won't say it will catch the pokemon immediately, but helps when you throw more and more... I catch mewtwo with timer balls :'D

In order to catch Rayquaza, you need to have a Groudon from the other game. There's also I believe an Arceus event as well as Dialga/Palkia/Giratina, but I don't know much about those events other than I think they're at the Ruins of Alph.
Articuno is being a little bitch for me right now 80 ultra balls and 50 great balls and it only got to three shakes Paralyzed and in the smaller red zone
Just a tip... When you want to catch a pokémon inside a cave, do it during the night and use Dusk Balls. Dusk Balls are great during the night and get a boost inside caves.
Big fan of this upload - Articuno is my all-time favourite Pokemon! Zapdos is probably my favourite sweeper for Gen1 and Gen2 (Stadium 64 and Stadium 2), and Moltres would have been just as epic if he could have learned Flamethrower - Fire Blast misses too much. Ho-oh seems just a more OP version of Moltres now though, does this make Moltres obsolete? I really like how these 3 were the very first legendary Pokemon to be encountered in Gen1, their simple and effective names (uno for #1) (dos for #2) (tres for #3) along with more than subtle hints at their types, these 3 legendaries will always be the standard that others are measured against.
i was playing pokemon fire red i got my charmander from prof. oak i trained a bit caught a pikachu then i bought 10 repels put one on then i was in the grass trying to avoid pokemon i thought i would be safe with my repel THEN SUNDDENLY a wild suicune apeared!
That can happen. Sense the repel only works on pokemon weaker than the one you keep front. Ive used that tactic to catch Entei on my fire red. I Used max repel and walked back n forth in the grass until one showed up.
TheGoldenMewtwo i just got a crit on a articuno with one health and it got paralized. then i couldnd catch it but i did i stalled it with fatass my snorlax

There's something really nostalgic about the legendary birds. They're always exciting to catch, just like it was as kids.

If u choose charmander u get suicune as a roamer
You need the national pokedex for suicune to appear.

I caught articuno on the first try too,I was struggling with zapdos too,it took me TONS of tries to catch moltres but on a day IT WAS AN EASY CATCH
