- This is a beautiful doll but a few things really bothered me with her :( I’m hoping I can fix some of the issues I had with a restyle. Still an incredible doll!

Idk how to explain but my first reaction was that she looks like a yassified miss faragonda from winx. Love that for her. 💖
My Delilah also came with indents on her face from her glasses. I blasted her nose with a hair dryer and it helped the vinyl reform and now there's not a trace of the dents left on her face.

@@TinyGhosty Glad to help! I was really bummed about it with my Delilah at first but happened to remember that heat might help. It also helped with the glue on my Veronica's gum (it softened it) so I could get it out because there was so much of it. I think this might have to be my go-to trick. Good luck with your Lavender!

I'm so happy we're getting more dolls with glasses. There's no way all of these characters just have perfect vision.
Also very glad her beret has that structure. From my experience with those things, they just need way too much adjusting. I was in marching band and we had to switch between the fancy hats and berets really quickly.
Idk if anyone else has experienced this but I seem to have really bad luck with the plating. It rubs off really easily and gets everywhere.
The spikes in the beret being removable? Insane. Revolutionary. 😊
She is my favorite doll of shadow high series three. Now, I am most definitely at least a little biased because any shade of light purple is my favorite color, but anyway. I love her glasses, I love her makeup, I love her choker, I love her outfit, I love her accessories, I could go on. The issues that you ran into are a bummer, but for me, they aren’t that big of problems, and don’t bother me that much.
I like the old fashioned designed top of her dress and her cameo pendant .
Gosh the stock photos don't do justice towards Lavender. I was so unsure why people were excited for her but now I understand! That potrait in the necklace blew me away and I didn't knew that the sleeves were mesh material.
And I love that picture callback on the accessories. Really liking the personalized accessories RH/SH have been getting.
Personally, Scarlet is my favorite SH Series 3 doll because I love her color scheme and her accessories, and she looks absolutely goregeous restyled in other clothes!🖤💜
I found an ainsley for a dollar today in her 3rd outfit at my local thrift store. 😊
i think I think she's the best of SH Series 3. Her outfit is the most interesting to me. Feels like new design/style territory for the brand.
This 1 is my fav. But trying to be good and wait on these for sales or to see in person. Def the 2 red dolls & pink I feel in no rush.
I completely agree with what you said about the saturated skintones. Monique is one of my top favorites purely from her skintone/face and I am hoping Lavender will also be a top favorite when I get her. It is a little disappointing to see 3 of SH series 3 dolls have more "normal" skintones because the greyscale/fantasy skintones really makes SH dolls incredibly unique and beautiful. Hopefully if/when series 4 comes out they will return to greyscale/fantasy entirely like series 1&2.💜
Also I will riot if my Lavender has dents on her nose. Fingers crossed I get lucky.
I actually think she is very pretty and my favorite of the two. I don’t really find Berry appealing at all. But we all have different taste and that’s why there’s such a variety of dolls. Thank you for the review 💗😊

Thank you Brooke for your early videos and honest reactions, it really does help a collector like me to pick my dolls because i ma not a completist ! I love miss Lynn ! She was my favourite from the leaks and I haven’t changed my mind about her ! Love that she has super long hair and that RH/SH isn’t afraid of doing that (with Glitch and Shanelle and hair play Amaya for example ! I love her cute, preppy aesthetic with an edge to it with the spiky beret (don’t know why everyone hates on it, I personally love it) ! Berrie is definitely my second favorite and she wasn’t supposed to be, I didn’t like her from the leaks but she blew everyone else out of the water !❤❤❤❤
I'm so excited to get her, can't wait until she is in stores. I really wish her top and skirt were separate pieces too! Her face is so pretty though and i love her glasses.
$25 is so cheap! That is $42 here in NZ. Rainbow High series 5 is about $90 here depending on what store it is. That's USD$53. 😢
As an Australian, dolls are super expensive here too. $59 AUD for series 5 which is roughly $65 NZD.

I've been waffling over ordering her and Lilac from the LOL shop all afternoon, I think this may have been the nudge I needed to go through with it.
On the topic of fabric shoes--several of the 12" playline versions of Jan McLean's Lollipop Girls and their fashion packs had them! So it's not completely unheard of. But that was...20 years ago? So I guess it's been awhile 😅
She reminds me of spike the dragon ❤ she is amazing in person.. her little teacup and saucer is adorable 😍 and I love her Cameo necklace ❤️ the lace on her outfit is so stunning too! I just love her
She reminds me of a cartoon grandma from an old cartoon. Like the grandma from loony tunes or something. I think it's the glasses + white hair + the cut of the sleeves
ooooh, she is so beautiful! the prettiest in this series. i saw her in Canada in one of the stores (a miracle i know). they had just 1. don't know why the stores in Canada literally only get like 1 doll from each series. like cmon man. i am hoping she's still there. i was on the fence at the beginning cause i already have 31 dolls and wanted to be more selective, but the more i look at this doll, the more i am like i MUST have her. she's gorgeous. like i compared her to Daphne and Gabriella (some of my faves) and she is equally pretty if not more so i am gonna try to get her. if not i'll go on amazon and pray i get one that doesn't have a wonky eye and looks like an extraterrestrial. i always prefer to get them in store so i can pick the best one.

Sadly I think the face issues are common. I saw her in stores in Austria and didn't pick her up because all of them had smudged and/or indented faces :' (
I don't know this at all for sure, but I suspect that the presence of a lot of pigment in the polyvinyl "mix" so to speak, could make the plastic much thicker and more viscous. I know for a fact that it happens with latex paint when you mix a more highly pigmented color. It leads to some problems in premature drying as you're working with it. But this is merely speculation.
This doll is cute, I love the magazine! I wanted more brown eyes in this series. Especially on Scarlet Rose, I like her a lot but I want to change her eyes to brown
Scarlet has the brown-grey eyes that dolls like Nicole, Zooey and Priscilla have. Rosie has the warm brown ones that are more commonly used
I was really hoping that top piece was separate as well. I was gonna restyle her to have the black pants that came with Ainsley. I think it can be sperated though.

I just got her today and mine also has the nose indents but they look like they are ment to be there, like they look like part of the face mold. I could be wrong tho 🤷♀️ , but I like its regardless!

Purple is my favourite colour, but my impression is she's too purple. I think I'm just not a fan of the fantasy skin tones, especially purple, but I understand if other people like them. I'm glad I don't love everything because I can't buy it all anyway. However the outfit being one piece is another step down from Series 2 quality. If it were separates, she could get some white or black to break up the monochromatic look. If I get any series 3 doll, it will be Berrie.
She's cute but i would put her long ponytail in a low bun i think it would look better. I would also give her glasses to my Nicole who wears Shannel's dress. Nicole can be The SH version of my favorite Deliah.
The lorem ipsum is so lazy though, they even seem to have used the exact same paragraph (of generated text) for every section. I don't even do that on actual documents where I use lipsum.

I like dolls with glasses, but I find those glasses hideous. Not a fan of the hat either, unfortunately. I do like how she looks without them.
I think she needs a beauty mark. Maybe where Stella’s is or above one of her eyebrows

Not my favorite of the release. It’s sad that her glasses and hat need assistance to stay on. It’s a big bummer that she has a dress and not a two piece outfit. I can see why for kids, but MGA has to know that collectors are a big part of their consumer base and want separates.

After wave one shadow high...they just turned into weird versions of rainbow high. And I really don't like rainbow high. They have zero shadow vibes. Plus they take up so much space.
