I have no clue were these Ai/auto tune robot voice theory is coming from. In the Sparkle / Black Swan story quest Sampo said "Killing people in their dreams... only the Remembrance has the power to do that!" Black Swan said "There is no death inside Penacony's dreamscape. That's the promise of the family and the blessing of the Harmony. Not even a Memokeeper can break this barrier." If the characters don''t die in reality they should be fine. Crazy idea, but in the beginning when the Trailblazer first dreamt and met Acheron... what if we are stuck in a dream and even when we think we are in reality it is still inside a dream.
We’ve seen Robin and Firefly die in the dream and we know that if you die in the dream you just wake up. But Sunday talks about them as undergoing “spiritual death” like it’s real death. What I think “spiritual death” means in the context of the dream is that the dream considers them dead so they can no longer enter the dream. For someone like Firefly that’s a big deal because she cannot really interact with the world outside of the dream because of her ailment. Given that Sunday is sad about Robin’s death probably means that Robin has a similar ailment to Firefly. However, this doesn’t really track with Robin being an interstellar idol. Unless Robin was piloting a robot body all along using the dream as a medium to control it and create her perfect pitch. If she suffers “spiritual death” then she may not be actually dead but it severs the connection between her and her robot body leaving her helpless. Though this is all speculation based on the apparent disconnect between what we’re told death means for normal people in the dream and the “spiritual death” that we see happen to Firefly and Robin so it could be totally wrong.
Jokes on everyone, the entire thing, literally from the moment we entered the dreamscape, we joined a game of Cluedo. It's ALL one bit murder mystery stage play in our dreams, and we've never truly returned to "reality" only the highest/shallowest level of the dream.

There's a side quest that says someone can exist in the dream without a physical body. Some characters resurrect a dead singer within the dream. There's also a fan theory that due to the purple slice mark that Robin was killed by ifrits daughter with the Giant scythe.
I love how much the community has been cooking since 2.0 dropped. Kinda feels like the game is just hitting its stride, especially with the multiple instanced narrative feature being introduced in 2.1: I think it's going to really open up the storytelling and allow previous plotlines to get fleshed out on the same scale as Penacony (we're not done with the Luofu for example). The interplay between story and theorycrafting is wild rn and I feel like it'll only get better.
Personally i thought a few concepts about this quest: 1. Robin and Firefly have something in them that got them killed. I also think Robin and Firefly doesn’t exist in the real world and that’s why their dead??? 2. I thought of maybe the mikhail person was somebody who died and the person seeking mikhail is delulu and thinks they found mikhail 3. The family is going to cover up someone’s death (mikhail, robin or both) 4. At the festival, robin and firefly will appear but the trailblazer will see dead bodies instead and then hsr turns into a horror game💀
I'm pretty sure Mikhail is Misha's grandfather and also the Watchmaker (there're some really good lorecrafting videos about it), who was a nameless that used a stellaron to power the dreamscape aka the Watchmaker's Legacy (the thing everyone is after)

I believe The Death Meme does not attack everyone unconditionally like Sunday said. It attacked Robin and Firefly specifically for a reason. It is possible that that Memory Zone meme is created by The Family to stop anyone from reaching the truth. The biggest hint for this is our first encounter with that monster (A Child's Dream, The Memory Dreamscape related to Misha and Mikhail, and possibly, even the Watchmaker). Robin seems to have conflicts with The Family, as she is one of the very few Penacony citizen to leave Penacony (even NPC find that sus af). Her most famous song, If I Can Stop One's Heart From Breaking, have many hints of her wanting to break free from a life she dreamed, which can imply Penacony as you need to dream to get to Penacony. All of those things make me think Robin used her return for the Charmony Festival to discover and expose the truth The Family is hiding to change Penacony for the better, but is eliminated in the dreamscape for being too close to the truth.
It looks like Robin and now Firefly are not dead, they are likely trapped somewhere in the dreamscape, where Sunday is trying to find her. The arrangements Sunday made were likely an intellitron disguised as Robin, who we meet in the beginning of 2.0 in the real hotel lobby, hence why her voice was robotic.
The most interesting thing is that on the Black Swan card where there is Firefly and other characters, Robin doesn't have wings on her ears like when we see her. Another thing: if Robin was dead, why did she have a pained expression? Dead people don't have that kind of expression that forces their eyebrows down.

I believe that March 7 is the other memo keeper, as she has no memory or her memories are affected. Like Fu Xuan, she wants to know something about march 7 but she can't, maybe because memo keeps who lost their memories cannot be visualized by other means. I don't know just my imagination 😅😅
There's a distinct difference between a character who has been available since release and died after two whole patches and two characters who we've only just met and aren't even playable yet. It would hurt their sales if they release characters that we have only just met but are already dead, especially robin, we spent the entirety of 2.0 with Firefly essentially but only said hi to Robin in passing a few times, there's nothing getting people to pull her if she's dead and stays dead cause all she is at that point is a pretty face.

i have a theory that maybe trailblazer will heal or revive firefly and robin (i believe theyr the same person) as for how the trailblazer might do it, i guess maybe since right now theyr mental situation isnt unstable which might make the stellaron inside them get unstable by maybe someone provoked them about firefly death? or maybe a dream thing or who knows, but anyways after this i guess they might have audience with the aeon of harmony and they will calm them down, also getting a new weapon which might help him defeat the beast thing okay i misdirected from the main topic, the trailblazer might heal/revive robin and firefly using theyr stellaron after controlling it more and getting to use some of its power not to destroy but to fix anyways thats my theory, adios amiga!
I think that since they experienced Spiritual death that Black Swan or others will likely help the MC figure something out to get them back. But then someone else will end up dying eventually. I think death is inevitable at some point on Penacony. However I think Firefly and Robin are separate people personally. Just my thoughts though
@@PancakeBreakfast i guess maybe the watchmaker will die? i dont have a proof but i feel like he will be a weekly boss later on since he looks very important as for the robin = firefly, i think theyr similar, robin is the physical body and firefly is the spirit body, maybe robin somehow got her spirit stuck in the dreamscape and changed her appearance using the dream power, she was seeking to feel everything she wasnt able to feel and hence why she is stuck in the dreamscape never wanting to wake up, while her reality form is stuck in coma until her spirit come back to it, as for if the robin that was near sunday is robot, i might say yes but no, maybe because of her syndrome that she had to put some sort of a voice box or maybe used some kind of power that let her talk and sound a little robotic, but i dont think someone is impersonating her, because if thetr is someone impersonating her then they might not be able to answer some of the questions that only robin knows, so findijg someone who is know it all about robin is hard, unless sunday had these kind of info about robin and shared it with the impersonator
If they go too trigger happy with the deaths, or kill off the same character multiple times....it really loses its emotional impact. And feels like its more done for memes or the sake of saying they did it.

And then kill those same characters all over again in 1 or 2 patches. Expecting the same emotional weight, and not just laughter at the meme of it, or irritation at the same theme being used all over again and them expecting us to feel like it's an actual impactful moment. For example, a recent one that comes to memory is RWBY. In that one, they've killed Penny multiple times. Recently, for real. And it didn't have a FRACTION of the effect the writers wanted it to, because... Well, they've already killed Penny multiple times. How can we feel the same emotional resonance over and over again, for the exact same act for the exact same character? Even if one of those deaths was a fake out death.

The penacony plot itself has been leaked months ago so be careful when you browse internet because there seems to be a new leaks regarding 2.2 playable characters. I noticed that Sampo was different immediately, though, because it sounds like a different person slightly, at least to me.

I think that since they experienced Spiritual death that Black Swan or others will likely help the MC figure something out to get them back.
But then someone else will end up dying eventually. I think death is inevitable at some point on Penacony.
However I think Firefly and Robin are separate people personally. Just my thoughts though

i guess maybe the watchmaker will die? i dont have a proof but i feel like he will be a weekly boss later on since he looks very important
as for the robin = firefly, i think theyr similar, robin is the physical body and firefly is the spirit body, maybe robin somehow got her spirit stuck in the dreamscape and changed her appearance using the dream power, she was seeking to feel everything she wasnt able to feel and hence why she is stuck in the dreamscape never wanting to wake up, while her reality form is stuck in coma until her spirit come back to it, as for if the robin that was near sunday is robot, i might say yes but no, maybe because of her syndrome that she had to put some sort of a voice box or maybe used some kind of power that let her talk and sound a little robotic, but i dont think someone is impersonating her, because if thetr is someone impersonating her then they might not be able to answer some of the questions that only robin knows, so findijg someone who is know it all about robin is hard, unless sunday had these kind of info about robin and shared it with the impersonator

If they go too trigger happy with the deaths, or kill off the same character multiple times....it really loses its emotional impact. And feels like its more done for memes or the sake of saying they did it.

So I think it's okay if at some point someone does for real and stays that way

And then kill those same characters all over again in 1 or 2 patches. Expecting the same emotional weight, and not just laughter at the meme of it, or irritation at the same theme being used all over again and them expecting us to feel like it's an actual impactful moment.
For example, a recent one that comes to memory is RWBY. In that one, they've killed Penny multiple times. Recently, for real. And it didn't have a FRACTION of the effect the writers wanted it to, because...
Well, they've already killed Penny multiple times. How can we feel the same emotional resonance over and over again, for the exact same act for the exact same character? Even if one of those deaths was a fake out death.

@@PancakeBreakfast i agree and that's what I'm hoping is the case as well. I just don't feel like killing Firefly twice, no matter how crazy they go with the music, is gonna have the emotional impact they think it will.
As for Himeko dying, because she dies in Honkai Impact 3rd?

Maybe not, I also got spoiled by Leaks and haven’t seen reliable source of the second memokeeper design. The penacony plot itself has been leaked months ago so be careful when you browse internet because there seems to be a new leaks regarding 2.2 playable characters. There are scums who spoiled without guilt under those posts. I am one of the victim 😭
