Last month our favorite flea market reopened after being closed for over a year, and now it's time for their second event. We bring all the vintage items we've found recently and head out to Alameda Point for another sunny day of selling items, making money, and having fun! Hey jack, I just had a brilliant idea. You should pass out business cards with change given at the flea markets with your live auction info. Especially Alameda ( don't know if I spelled that right). Or put up a small banner or sign. You're missing out on a huge customer base. They're the perfect clientele.

The flea mkt. here in Santa Rosa isn't going to open until next year. That finishs me off. I have a garage full of stuff my landlord says has to go. I watch you every show. All you resellers make my day. Not as being doing it myself but my truck won't run all over bay area or you'd know me by now. I'm 71 yrs old so don't know if I will get back to it..i miss it as you know that is. Big hurt on my income. I used to only deal knives but internet ended that. Funny how people will buy cheap made in China instead of a few more $ for good ones. Well keep up the good life...... Harley Hermit

I’ve just recently started watching you and decided to go back to find a video of you actually selling and I just want to say that it was nice to see a real video of a flea market where it wasn’t 10 minutes long and someone just yakking away or walking the perimeter for half the video. I’ll have to look for another flea market video from you. I know this is an older video and chances are no one will see this comment anyway. Lol

The man who bids on your auctions said he was looking for photo slides. Jebus posted a video today where he found a huge box of them. They were really old and historical. He also found old cameras.

This is one time I wish I lived in CA I have a house of vintage. The prices at that flea market is something else.
When "trying" on pants without trying them on....hold them at both sides at the top of the pants and wrap around your neck. If the two ends meet, the pants fit 😉😉

They did that at the Salvation Army when buying pants. If you didn't shop there then you might not know about it

Sorry, but it does not work. Maybe for someone young of normal weight. My pants, which do not fit loose, all overlap by at least an inch. I have a friend who is smaller than I am on top, but twice as big on the bottom....she would not be able to put on pants that wrapped around her neck and just touched.

Hey Jack, just wanted to let you know for future reference the thing you called an amplifier was actually an amplifier head. It does not have a speaker it is just the components for the amp. The head goes in conjunction with that huge speaker you also had at the flea. When a head and a speaker are sold together they are called a half stack, and when you have a head and two speakers it's a full-stack. Love your videos.

I'm amazed at myself, how I'm able to watch this video. Perhaps because I love seeing people interacting with one another and I guess it's from being locked up away because of this pandemic. It reminds me also when my father would take us to Maxwell Street in Chicago to the flea markets and it was always jam packed with people and we could always smell the Maxwell Street Polishes and the music immenating around. Those were the good times. Fortunately everything changed and the University of Illinois took over that property and everything is all modernized. It's as though it never existed but it continues to exist in my mind and that's how I remember it.
I'm so excited for you all! We have an outdoor market during the winter here in Arizona. LOL Summer everyone stays inside or goes up north lol

If you want vintage, and antiques markets in your town, get some friends of a like mind, to talk to the chamber of commerce in your area. They have the most clout with the city government.

Heh, could have sold the milk can for $10. Marks it down to $2 at the end. I guess that’s how it goes sometimes.
Yeah. It happens on some of the items. But I've noticed that if I hold my prices higher earlier in the day, more times than naught I do get more money, and I think I come out ahead. But also, I really think it's worth more than $10. LOL, I'm kinda stubborn.

I was there in May and your mom is right people were in a frenzy that month because of waiting a year to do it. Let me tell you it was crazy trying to drive out of there. Only one way off the island.

I was born in southern Cali and at age 13 worked at Swap Meets Selling Misc. items plus during that time I worked for someone that sold stereo's, car radios and other items.
I'm talking mid to late 70's and early 80's.
Sure wish I would of been able to buy and hold to some of the things from back then 🙂 oo well.

You need to take that stuff from eBay and put it in your vintage sell it at the vintage market along with what she said giving out your business cards this is one of the best storage shows any way you want keep up the good work you're doing great but sell that stuff it will never sell if you don't bring it to this vintage auction I saw the vintage one here and I figured I would just put a comment and the cards idea is brilliant !

those bose speakers only work if you have the special eq unit that came with them. The eq is frequently missing. They also are a pain to refoam if they need it

Yeah, last time they were throwing $20 per tshirt at you like it was nothing.
Probably because it was the first one after a year+. People were excited and eager to spend. Now that the excitement has died down. Not so much.
