looks very clean! I was surprised too as to how closely the vinyl paint matched to the original. And that HUD retrofit was a heck of a deal! $

Just got a 535 without heads up display and I don't think I'm doing all that just to see my speed on the windshield 🤣🤣🤣you did a hell of a job though!
Yeah, it’s definitely not necessary. I did the swap, because I was pulling the dash regardless to paint.

Thanks man. I still working on upgrades. Just sold my Style 433 Replica wheels and have new ones on the way. Hopefully will have a upgraded turbo by the Spring.

Good effort on the install! And very impressed with the dash paint, maybe there is some hope to get rid of my oyster interior!.
Quick question about your HUD though.
My car has oem heads up and I'm just fitting an android screen but it does have the socket for the HUD plug. Can you just clarify your wiring? you spliced into K-Can, anywhere specific? And the other 2, any ground and the power was that ignition 5V or 12V?
I don’t think I will be much help. I wasn’t aware the Android Headunit had a port for the HUD display.

Can you do like a short video about head up display working during day in sunlight and night time , am thinking of retrofitting one too but am little worried how will it look on a non HUD windshield.

Can you please share a list of everything needed to retrofit hud? My issue is finding the wiring, Ik where to find everything else.
You will need:
Speedometer with HUD output
HUD dash or trim your old dash
HUD display module
HUD/dash trim
Driver’s assistance HUD button
Wiring and cables
once install the hud and module dis you need to code it?

Yes, it’s a 2011. Checkout the videos on my channel. I go over all my mods. Also, I source the LCI steering wheels and Speedometers for the community all the time. Lmk if you need one or have questions.
