I agree with you Jenny, on the diesel being the better power train spec.I manage a fleet of mixed vehicles at work and we have a batch of Diesel Carnivals, all but one the current shape (2021-22 models), they go well with very good torque and are reasonable on fuel. They handle Melbourne's atrocious roads well(just keep them out of the potholes) They are pretty reliable and age well, our oldest is a previous generation model, a 2020 model, and it is still very good, it might hang around another year or two. Hopefully the Hybrid will filter down into the lower trims eventually.
I was going to add the petrol model(which is limited in supply) drinks fuel like a sailor, friends of ours have a 2016 model petrol and it is a guzzler.
looking at that infotainment area... there seems to be a lot of interesting tech...most car reviews are focused on "driving experience" but im a tech person and team hyundai/kia they would have lots of my money if they were sold this side of the world... they seem very generous when it comes to tech in the cars

Anything Jenny sized will fit even if the car had a 4th row 🥰
good review, wish something like that was available when I was hauling the billy lids around.
Cool features and good choice for families, thanks Jenny
