Putting my two ponies in front of the carriage together!

Finally it happened, the video together with Macho and Bear in front of the carriage. Macho has been in front of the carriage with another horse before but for Bear it was totally new. So he will need a bit of time to get comfortable and thats why I had some help in this video to make sure he had the best experience possible. I am so proud of them and they are sooo cute together. I think it will be so nice for them to start exploring new places together. Enjoy the video and I will see you soon in the next video!:)

Bear looks especially happy, showing off that he's an old hand pulling a carriage. Macho is lucky to have Bear at his side to learn the techniques.

The ponies looked good for not being a completely matched pair. They will only get better with practice. Looked like so much fun!
Yay Bear and Macho!
THIS is what to teach all ponies whose children have outgrown them to ride. Don’t sell beloved ponies from good homes or retire them to pastures to get bored and fat. Teach them to pull carts that people of any age (and ponies!) will enjoy!

Amazing that this was their first time together harnessed to a buggy.
Looks like the roadway was much more enjoyable for them, they really began to happily synchronize, like little mighty ones on a mission. ❤
I knew it was going to be cute, but then I (unintentionally) squeaked "Oh, how cuuuuuute!" as they started in the ring. 😊 Because it's impossible not to. Lethally adorable.
Macho's side profile in some of those shots really make him look like a powerful stallion, so beautiful

Their little trot is so cute, especially from the perspective from the carriage when you went off property

I love it! Matt has only one rule . . . . we don't go on the grass 😂😍🥰
With one horse taller than the other, I would consider putting the taller horse on the outside, near the edge of the road. Because usually roads are higher in the center and lower near the edge for drainage, this would help the horses look closer in height. No matter, they looked beautiful together, they were pretty tolerant of the whole thing, and I'm glad you put them in open bridles.

That was soooo much fun! 😂😂😂 I thought at first the size difference may have had an impact but it really didn’t seem to be a problem, at all.
And I love the way the streets are set up … it makes it a bit like it’s a little community amongst all the neighbours. We don’t have anything quite like that here in Canada 🇨🇦 (or at least what I’ve seen) … seems more like pathways then roadways. Very sweet and picturesque.
Love the pieces of mane that were sticking up … it so reminds me of the VLOG that was so funny … it still brings a grin to my face, when I think about the antics that went on that day! You two were absolutely hilarious.
Thanks for bringing us along … it also shows us that mini ponies have a very special place in the horse world too … and aren’t just pets or for decoration … but there’s actually a bona fide sport, that these horses excel at!

This looks so cool! My two ponies are also driving ponies, but I'm still a little afraid of having them together in front of the carriage. Not because I don't trust them together, but because I don't know if they would fit together with their height difference and therefore one making bigger and wider steps than the other. I guess they would simply adapt to the other one, but neither of them have any experience with being paired up in front of the carriage and you never know, what a young pony comes up with 😅
Do you ever watch Barry Hook's videos? He puts horses of all different sizes in together. They figure out how to work together.
