This is actually one my favorite color stories Natasha has ever done! I think the deeper pastels will look lovely on brown skin. The green matte will really bring out my dark eyes 🤎

With hazel/brown eyes, this green will be wonderful. I think this palette is a nice extension of the pastel palette and will give more versatility to the looks we can achieve with that midi palette. It’s very complimentary!
ND has released quite a few palettes with different shades of that mint green lately. Retro Glam, Pastel, and now the mini Pastel. I was pleased to see two blue shades in this new palette which is why I bought it immediately. She doesn't have enough blue shades in her palettes. You only find one here and there.
I think the color story is beautiful! For some reason combining greens and pinks is flattering in my eye lids and generally i love blue. So, i will be picking this one up!
As you and Angie pointed out and I agree as a person of color, that the blue and green would be pastels on a much deeper skin tone. Your look was very pretty! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for this review. If I bought this palette it would be for that metallic bronze shade only. This palette is a missed opportunity. This mini palette doesn't really stand up on it's own, but it makes sense as an add-on to the larger pastel palette, which wasn't a palette that inspired me very much in the first place. I agree that that green isn't very flattering. But I don't think that color would be very flattering on anyone.

I'm on the fence with this one. I agree the green is a weird color!!! It's not really pastel at all... it looks like a midtone green. Happy New Year Patty 🎉 I 💯 percent agree with you about the highlighter issue. I too have some texture (& I’m older than you) however… have you tried blending the Raw Beauty liquid highlighter with one of her liquid blushes? OMG, it’s my jam…gives a beautiful glow without metallic or glitter on your high points.

I really think looks good gives you fresh look usually you have shadows that are berry or pinky and look more red tone skin than usually are but preference is what you love.

I ordered this one because the colors seem pretty to use solo or with other palettes. I’m not buying much ND anymore since it’s not a go to brand for me but this little gem caught my eye.
As you said, it’s personal preference, but the green looked really beautiful on you. The duo chrome has some green in it. Maybe if you put that over the green matte a little more, you may like it a little better…just a thought. I’m excited to use this with the midi Pastel palette and see what combinations I can create. The highlighter is interesting. I took my pinkie and swatched the corners. I can see a subtle difference. I will just use those colors for inner corner highlights. I agree with you needed another matte shade I do love the green though with the blues I wore it yesterday night with the dark blue as an eyeliner green in the crease than light blue on the lid. I would have gotten rid of the pink I’m not a pink person though

Hi, actually I was thinking about how fantastic the green looks on you when you start to say that it doesn´t. You should see this kind of green on my medium olive skin tone! But, maybe, it´s in me and I should look more attentively to the mirror. .. Anyway, I like the look you´ve created with the palette!
I'm with you. The green is yuck. I have the same coloring as you and I just ordered this from Sephora. I'm going to skip the green. I wish you tried the blue instead of the Green (I know it's not matte but still it might look cool). Or else replace the green with the blue matte from the big palette. I've seen Heather a use it and it looks great on her but she is a lot darker skin tone. Thanks for the great review as always. Happy new year 🎉
One more thing, I have large pores but use a lot of skin care products and my tried and true highlighter is by Ofra called Pillow Talk. It is such a rich, creamy and very blendable highlighter that I use as eyeshadow as well and it doesn't settle into my pores.
Maybe it's the camera lighting, but that minty blue green looks good on you on camera. Might not in person but on this video it lights up your face. I have a theory about ND and her color stories..... She did an Insta story from her office conference room once where she showed these extraordinary, otherworldly sunsets over the ocean from her windows. And I think that's where she gets her color story inspirations, in part. Her sunsets are riots of incredible colors and you may well see a bronzy gold in with pastel hues there, and in nature it makes sense. I just go along with her color stories now and see where they take me, I might not end up with something I can wear to the grocery store but from an artistic point of view I'm never disappointed. As much as I love her formulas, I feel like most of her color stories are lessons for me, if that makes any sense.
I love using eyeshadow as eyeliner, I tried using UD's 24/7 to mix with, but boy was that a big mistake, my eyes got so allergic! Has anyone got any input regarding Makeup by Mario's blending medium? Also does it still transfer to your upper eye for those with hooded eyes like myself?
I don’t get the point of the highlighter it looks pretty though. I am intrigued by the eye palette and although it’s not my colour story for spring summer it might be cute x

The Sea Star shade is No Bueno! I don't think it shows up on the lid like it shows on the pan and all blue shades creased on me 🥺 I will be returning mine🤷🏻♀️
Can you return used make up and then get your money back?? Here in the Netherlands no one would try to bring back make up they opened and used.. I read it more often here that people bring their make up back. That sounds so weird to me, because what will they do with it? Hopefully not seal it again and sell it as “new”? :s

I like the green on you but since you don’t like green maybe you could have just used it in the crease and used the blue for a deep outer corner 🤷♀️ just a thought but your the pro but I think the green looks good on you especially in the crease where it’s blended into just a wash

I’ve seen 4 other UA-camrs using this new palette and the look you’ve created is by far the nicest .

If you don’t have the sigma switch I think you would love it. It works so well cleaning off shadows, cream foundations,highlighters, bronzers.
