There's 2 servers Japanese ( you have to get it somewhere else though) and English, the Japanese servers are further ahead in story and songs ( English most likely won't catch up)

yes yes! When I was a beginner I used to think that the more speed, the more hard. Then I realized I messed up frequently because it was soooo slow (4.0). I recommend you to keep adding +0.5 or +1.0 speed everytime til you feel comfortable with one
All songs only in the Japanese servers right now are delayed by a year in the English servers, so they'll all come in around 2023 or later (depending on when they were released). Also some will only be on Japanese servers I think
