The iconic scenes made movie, "Forest Gump", relatable in the memories of the audience who watched the movie. I was young during the historic events. I didn't realize how the Viet Nam War, the Hippie Revolution, Elvis, the Beatles, Civil rights issues and other important historic events changed the course of history. I felt like I was part of the history and indirectly part of movie. I believe Tom Hanks and my paths might have crossed living through snd remembering significant historic events bringing realism to the movie.
Almost all people miss that Forest played football for the Alabama Crimson Tide under legendary coach Paul “Bear” Bryant (seen in the movie with his signature black & white hat)
Yes I remember every scene of Forrest Gump from his legs having braces to him saving his friends during the Vietnam war him saving lutentent Dan's life after his legs being blown off after him being hit with mortar during the raid

I had a plate of shrimp at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company 😂😂at the Peak in Hong Kong. And that’s all I have to say about that!😂
That was pretty cool technology for the time.
So many great movies premiered in 1994. Questionable if Pulp Fiction or Shawshank Redemption deserved best picture oscar.
Oh no, not Travolta! No one could have done “Forest” lIke Tom!
I saw the first day it was available in my area. I went home got a friend and went back to see it a second time. So yes i love this film.

After seeing this movie a half dozen times or more, I still didn’t realize Kurt Russel was in it. I’m just shocked
