Hi Dan, not sure if you’re aware but insurance companies won’t pay out if you’re involved in an accident if they find seat jacks. The reasoning is because all safety equipment must be OEM.

I wouldn't consider seat jacks "safety equipment" although I wouldn't put it past them. Lol
@@jpjp3873 yeah, they're probably just the opposite. I like the concept for seating/positioning, but Im thinking the load on the longer bolts in a crash would be catastrophic....curious to see if they've been tested though
I also worry that the airbag system was designed for seats in their factory position.

Thanks Dan! I noticed the same thing with the low seat issue, this is the first time I've seen a remedy. The only question I have is- do you run into the steering wheel being too close to your thighs, even on its highest setting?

Where did you find the handle covers?
As far as running boards/rock sliders, I've been looking at the Slee offroad rock sliders for the 4Runner. I'll have to look into the desert does it seat jacker!

Was your car lifted/leveled in any way? Highly considering front seat jackers but I'm wondering if I won't need it if I level out the front of the car.
It is lifted yes, these did help with the lift as it allowed me to have a better viewing angle

There’s actually someone on the T4R forums who did a mod like that. I don’t recall what he did but his glock fits right in the tissue holder

The 4Runner driver’s seat needed to be made more comfortable. It is not comfortable! How is everyone’s seat holding up in terms of wear and tear???

I understand the difference , but I list it as a mod just to make people like you mad.
Lookup ergonomics for car seats. Your knees should be lower or even with your hips. Your setting yourself up for some serious sciatic pain
As mentioned in the video I use the seat jackers to lift my seat up to support behind my knees. It does not elevate my knees into a higher position.
