V-66 Superstar Focus on The Cars 1986

V-66 was a local Boston area UHF and cable channel that tried to compete with MTV in the mid-80's. They only lasted a couple of years but produced some good shows like this biography of The Cars. Includes interviews and clips of live performances.

Everyone knows the band was in turmoil during the recording and tour for “Door to Door”, and Ben was still his gracious self and took the high road in the ending interview, with not a bad word to say about anyone. RIP Ben…you were a lovely man and to this day inspire me to be a better person.

Lol I loved v66. Only video channel we could get at college but you had to have the antenna just right. Lots of Cars and Stompers (East Side Girl). Great memories!

If this the D2D tour ,it was their last.I think Ben was being a good sport when he talked about the production of the album. Ric controlled the whole thing and no one was happy.
