Oddly enough I don't need compliments. Love Kris's videos. Cringe at the blanket compliments that I know have nothing to do with me. I'd appreciate it if she thanked her viewers. But, my hair is not great. I do not have luscious lips. I do not have fabulous skin. ... I understand her kindness, but...yeah, cringy when she talks about looks.
Counselor here; the thoughts you described with putting your finger in the cutting machine is a phenomenon known as the "call to the void" and is fairly common. It is thought that we get those thoughts so our brain works out what would actually happen if we did do the action. Its also been shown that the people who have these thoughts less are more likely to do said behaviors! Also, love the content you're such a fun person to listen to!

Like when you’re really high up and you KNOW you will die if you jump but even tho I value my life so freaking much why am I thinking of jumping even tho I don’t wanna do it at all😭🤣why when I see something dangerous my brain goes “you know you can-“ LIKE I DONT WANNA DO THAT! I love every limb😂
@@a.r.t4954 OCD is not the only cause and lots of people with out OCD experience this as well. So, i dont think your OCD is what gives that phenomenon but it could worsen it. And it also happens when you're on a cliff and it feels like you are getting pushed closer.

Fun fact... the intrusive thoughts have a name... yep, you read that right, they HAVE a name. It's called "The Call of The Void" it's an impulse to do things that have a risk or high risk of danger. So, no you are not alone in this, it's a VERY common thing, Kris.

I was just going to say this. Generally most people can just let them go and pass the intrusive thoughts off as random junk, but some people that have anxiety can focus on these thoughts and go into a doom spiral that leads to a panic attack or episode. I had that happen and it fucking sucks. My brain hyper focused on those thoughts and I was so worried that I was becoming a wacko or something. Therapy helped a lot, but I got it after my episode.

My dad ran a print shop when I was growing up and I always freaking LOVED the giant cutty machine. Especially the little "pzew" sound it made when it cut magazine paper like in the clip!! There were lots of loud, satisfying machines there, but that one was the coolest.

can we just take a moment to see that kris's teeth is whiter than paper. it genuinely looks like she spray painted her teeth white. that's how amazing and clean they look. she looks like she flosses and brushes like everything.
I agree that her teeth seem very well taken care of but keep in mind there are ways to edit videos to make someones teeth appear more white. So they probably are not as white as they seem in her videos.

I have noticed this in her latest videos. I am pretty sure she whitened her teeth or uses the teeth whitening kit etc. Anyway, absolutely gorgeous 😊
She might have made them whiter. But she does have someone edit her videos and it would be a normal part of the process in making the video look better. I just thought I would comment because some people forget that celebrities usually have edited videos and photos of themselves and it can make an unaware person feel bad about their own looks. Nothing against Kris I am sure she is she is beautiful IRL too.
