The higher rate of fire would be the predominate reason for the ladder to wear at the base of the piston. A bigger spring just compounds to the damage of the ladder since there is more force in the stroke. Either removed the tooth as suggested or slow down the ROF. Edit: good work delving into the engineering aspects of gel blasters, would love to see more diagnostics breakdown videos like these.
Always remove the first tooth or the leading tooth from the sector gear. NOT the last tooth or the trailing tooth. You actually don't need to remove any teeth from the piston at all. But removing the last tooth on the ladder(piston) will save moving mass. Always remove the same amount of teeth from the sector gear as the ladder.
Removing either the front or the back of the sector gear will mess up the tappet timing if more than 2-3 teeth is removed. If you remove the sector gear's pick up side, the tappet plate will retract the nozzle prematurely, and vice versa on the released side. Supposedly removing the first teeth on the sector gear is more desirable generally, but removing the last teeth seems to have worked for me every single time so I just stick with it lol.
@@theliteoperatinggroup4387 yeah bro i did it like you told me..what i found is the charging handle spring is stretch..and dust cover small pin (when you open dust cover you can see there is small pin for close the window dust cover) also its not catching when i pulling dummy bolt ..dangg 😭
@@feezhr4880 You can buy a replacement for the charging handle spring. As for the dust cover, if nothing is missing, might probably be able to put it back together?
@@theliteoperatinggroup4387 i will try to get gen 9 charging handle spring..yeah there is nothing missing tho..only the small pin not catch when pulling charging handle the dust cover door not open.. need something that can make dust cover to open ,or else ..(buy new dust cover) 🤣🤣

Iron Maiden bro if I’m using a 13.5 toooth ladder (metal) do I need to remove a tooth from the sector gear? But my gear are metal gear lol
I take the last tooth off the ladder if needed and the first tooth from the sector gear

What was the rate of fire?
But doesn't the nozzle timing get out of wack if u remove the last teeth from sector gear
One teeth off the sector gear won't mess up the timing, unless you are taking more than 2-3 teeth off.
Are you using stock spring when you do the chrono fps testing of 270fps?
It has a 1.2 spring installed during the test.
hello, yesterday i bought k1 but out of the box the dust cover not opening when i pull the charging handle.. please help me how to fix that 😟
You can take the upper receiver off and check whats up with the charging handle/dustcover/dummy bolt.

@@feezhr4880 Hmm I don't really understand about this small pin lol, but anyhow the dust cover can be bought as spare parts too!
just means you need a heavier spring
