I accidentally watch love alarm season 1 but I stayed after I saw a very interesting character “yukjo” a strong character that showed that self love will eventually bring you happiness.
The worst thing that happened was the alarm thing. Imagine there was no alarm and people just follow their heart n love each other. But no, they depend on the alarm. That freaking alarm. I am happy with ending. It showed the reality. Sunoh was Jojo's first love but when time went by and she got to know Hye Yeoung deeper, she got to know tht both were dealing with a tragic past. He understood her more. Tbh if Jojo would have ended up with Sunoh it would have followed the same unrealistic drama plot Rich nd popular guy getting the girl. I am happy it didnt turn out this way. Jojo also gave reason to Sunoh tht it was not the Love Alarm but it was her choice to be with Hye yeoung. It was clear when she said when she went to their school all she could imagine was Hye yeoung becs she felt attached to him in a way tht couldnt be with Sunoh.

As like many people, I was sad that in the end, the romantic moments of Jojo’s and Sun-Oh’s relationship on high school ended being just nice and healing memories for both of them, memories that now both of them can say that they had someone who made good moments and made their past a beautiful one despite of all the pain that both of them was dealing in the moment 😞😢; but at least I knew that in the end, Sun-Oh realized that he has someone who cared about his feelings and someone who was going to accept her defeat for leave Sun-Oh choose Jojo 😊💕...

Is just me who ever dont happy for Jojo and Hyeong? and totally happy for Sun-O and Yukjo? When i watch the season 2 and saw Yukjo moments I literally crying that i thought she might be just like that girl whos just be part of the third wheel but in the end finally Sun-O came back after. Sun-O really came back and prove to his self that he is not just like a one sided person that in his mind "Jojo is the only one no matter what" but no he prove to Yukjo that he have a feelings and not just like a ordinary feelings a true feelings for her and he keep coming back until Yukjo realized that she is not a unlovable person. I never watched Love alarm out of all the kdramas, because i have my own reason, and the first of 'em all is, this has sad ending, i mean ofcourse not in the second season. So the main thing is, from my outlook, when it comes to love, i don't believe any "Love alarm" and any "dating apps" will find you the partner your soul needs, sure a few of the other people out in the world must have found theirs but then again, maybe it was all interconnected that those will meet through this or that and through some mutual friendship and all. Secondly, when it comes to the "ONE", the "Right person", maybe they patiently and slowly creeps up into our lives and they don't rush things, they stay there, they hear us and shares their own perspective, they respect us as much as they love us. So, i believe in "UNIVERSAL INTERCONNECTION", that's how Sun-oh found his "One" in yukjo, because she stayed there, she never ran away, she proved him her love for him, she believed him when no one did. And above all, she was fine with her being second choice which in my opinion, she was first and the last choice of Sun-oh after having enough shit people in his life. He found his light at the end of the dark tunnel. And that's how he came back to get her back, to get his "Ms. RIGHT" back, not for the second chance. Sometimes we get so blind in loving the wrong person, by losing our right parts that we chose to believe that the another person who right for us and accepts our true form, is also wrong for us. Nevertheless, we still find them standing in our life and staying there, with us forever. God, really has made someone for each one of us, so go with the nature's guidance, because the things around are working in your own favour and making sure you meet your right one, at the very right time.
I open the thread of why everyone is foolish when they say that Jojo is the bad, selfish and heartbreaker when in reality she is the victim: 1.- We begin with that Jojo is 17 years old, her parents committed suicide in front of her when she was 9, she developed various traumas, she also developed self-esteem problems, depression and visible anxiety. 2.-She has 2 part-time jobs where 1 is to tend to her aunt's store so that she can give her the money that she would have to give her because she is her tutor (in the series the aunt says that "she collects her parents' debt" ) and the other is in a restaurant The money he earns is divided into 3: food, tuition and his grandmother's hospital * Let's remember that Jojo has a scholarship par excellence and that is why he pays half of what the school charges (Yes she’s in a private school because Gul-Mi has crazy ideas and she forced her mother to change her school). 3.- She is an asocial person who only has contact with her family, with her "friend" and her boyfriend. None of the aforementioned were interested in what Jojo felt, the boyfriend just wanted her to feed his ego and her friend was jealous of her life because she was insecure of herself. 4.-Her aunt and cousin hate her for existing. There is really no why, Gul-Mi is jealous of Jojo because she is a good student I guess and she is somewhat frustrated because in her academy they tell her that she is not good enough and her aunt was always jealous of Jojo's mother because she was more cute (since the physique constantly emphasizes it to Jojo and Gul-Mi). 5.-She did not want a relationship, the one she had just tired her. She met Sun-Oh and although she gave up falling in love, she did and experienced the beauty of her first love, for the first time she felt that she was important to someone. Sun-Oh helped her open up more, encouraged her to do things (like the trip) and showed the affection that all her life lacked. 6.-Continuing with Sun-Oh She tells him everything that happened with Sun-Oh and he gives her the hack of the app because he says that it is already becoming a double-edged sword (he also knows that Sun-Oh is half obsessed with the app and the app is the only thing that would drive him away) Jojo accepts it because she doesn't want to make the problem bigger anymore. 7.-After the accident Jojo wanted to see Sun-Oh but here she realizes the reality: a rich boy did not really fit into his life, she was the parallel line with which he should never have crossed. Jojo never sees Sun-Oh as her Savior or someone she can take advantage of. Many say that Jojo is "selfish" for not fulfilling Sun-Oh's whim, but they forget that Sun-Oh's family did not approve of the friendship with Hye-Jeong for being from a family with less purchasing power so they would not approve of the courtship with Jojo. She tried to talk to Sun-oh and he never answered, she wanted to end in a clear way but since he never appeared he just walked away, Sun-Oh appeared like 2 months later, she was already indifferent (like every normal person) with him.Sun-Oh instead of being a thinking person and asking him, he preferred to let an app decide for him. 8.-It ends with Sun-Oh, as the years go by, she starts working in a better place and has an anonymous blog on Instagram that is quite popular. She tried to overcome Sun-Oh, she knew that at that point it was already impossible (he was a model and she only worked for hours as a staff) and she knew about the relationship with Yook-Jo and Sun-Oh, therefore she preferred to stop looking for him or try something with it. 9.-Sun-Oh had a girlfriend and still went looking for Jojo to claim what had happened years ago. Here comes the ✨ consent ✨ Sun-Oh gives her consent to Yook-Jo but only hurts her because he uses her to forget about Jojo and treats her like his younger sister, she is smart, good vibes, she always tries to see what is best for both of them and gives her all her love to Sun-Oh but this "man" only thinks about what he feels without caring about others. This is seen since he forces Hye-Jeong to tell him if he likes Jojo or not and begins to be infatuated with her, after his whim and that Jojo did not follow what he wanted the victim to do to make her feel guilty invalidating each one of his problems saying "BUT I HAVE SUFFERED MORE FUCK", also only confuses Yook-Jo. 10.-Jojo's development is seen in the 7 chapters and the maturity she has to face the decisions she has made.At the end of the season, Hye-Jeong asks her for an opportunity, she sees it as "feasible" at this point, they have the same maturity, as adults they know that an app does not govern their feelings or actions. Many say that "Ay Hye-Jeong lost his opportunity" but he worked with her, he knew that she had a boyfriend, obviously he was not going to get involved in their relationship, when Sun-Oh and her walked, he did not get involved either, he resigned himself so that Sun-Oh He was happy, plus he felt that maybe he couldn't offer Jojo much (materially speaking). Anyway, Jojo doesn't deserve to be hated for not choosing Sun-Oh. Not because the character is not cute, cloying or that she does not like to beg does not mean that she has not loved Sun-Oh and that she does not have a "strong" or authority character. She is a strong empowered woman who without anyone's help has come out on her own💜

Storytime I feel the reason I was so passionate about this show is because of my real life experience it just had a different ending. I was basically a combination of hye young and yuk jo. So my bestfriend and I both fell for the same guy, I knew him first ofc I told her he was just my friend and when I introduced them she said he was unattractive and had no personality. I kept denying my feelings for him but she read my diary so she knew the truth. I didn't feel threatened by her at first because I knew she had a boyfriend and said he wasnt her type so I didn't expect anything to happen. We all started hanging out and walking home from school together because it was the only time we got to spend together since we were all in different classes. I forgot my phone in class one day and told them to walk home without me. When I got home I got a picture from a classmate it was of the two of them kissing in an alley way next to her house. My bestfriend who might I add is also my older cousin and I both agreed it was his decision and no matter what who ever he chose it wouldn't come in between our friendship. He eventually chose her which hurt me because it wasn't the first time we liked the same person or that someone chose her over me so I broke our promise and started to pull away from them. They ended up dating for 3 months while in school and she ended it because she was afraid he was going to eventually leave her like her parents did they weren't dead her mom got remarried and her dad left the country on work so she had to live with her sick grandmother and abusive aunt. He never understood why she ended it as she just told him that she didn't care about him anymore but he knew it wasnt true and never gave up he was heart broken and depressed and kept begging me to find out the real reason. I didn't want to tell him because that wasn't my place as she made me promised not to say anything to him as she didn't want to be a burden. It became so uncomfortable I was forced to chose a side so I chose her which ended my friendship with him then she eventually decided to transfer schools... 4 years later he reached out to me through a mutual friend and we reconnected I had no need to tell her as she was in a relationship now for almost 2 years and he never really asked about her either. Him and I grew closer and he decided he'd come to over and hang out. I had prior arrangements with my cousin that day but I decided it wouldn't hurt because we were older now and they've both moved on from their teenage romance. So they both showed up at my house and were caught by surprise then I noticed how they were looking at eachother like their feelings had awoken again They began secretly hanging out together excluding me he kept denying he had any feelings for her and that he respected she was in a relationship She eventually broke up with her boyfriend and here I go again putting someone else's happiness before my own I stepped aside and they started dating then she did the same thing again she started pulling away not talking to him he grew concerned and came to me for help and like the good friend I am I listend to their relationship issues it was hard for me because on one hand I still had feelings for him and the other they made a great couple and I was secretly rooting for them She broke up with him again with no explanation and began dating other guys as if he didn't matter I decided drop him because I didn't want to settle for being his 2nd choice and I was aways the one he came too for help putting his life back together I stopped talking to her as well for other reasons

I accidentally watch love alarm season 1 but I stayed after I saw a very interesting character “yukjo” a strong character that showed that self love will eventually bring you happiness.
The worst thing that happened was the alarm thing. Imagine there was no alarm and people just follow their heart n love each other. But no, they depend on the alarm. That freaking alarm. I'm so frustrated. I can't believe i download this alarm app from playstore when S1 got released. Okay imma evaporate now bye

She knew she stole sun oh smile, she herself accepts that how much sun oh suffered as a result of her activating the shield yet she says 'if I go back in time I'll again activate the shield' like isn't that too mean and selfish, I know she was in pain but it doesn't give the license to continuously hurt others even in season 2 she just kept ignoring him and avoiding him instead of making up for her mistakes and until the last sun oh doesn't know why was he dumped.

I am happy with ending. It showed the reality. Sunoh was Jojo's first love but when time went by and she got to know Hye Yeoung deeper, she got to know tht both were dealing with a tragic past. He understood her more. Tbh if Jojo would have ended up with Sunoh it would have followed the same unrealistic drama plot Rich nd popular guy getting the girl. I am happy it didnt turn out this way. Jojo also gave reason to Sunoh tht it was not the Love Alarm but it was her choice to be with Hye yeoung. It was clear when she said when she went to their school all she could imagine was Hye yeoung becs she felt attached to him in a way tht couldnt be with Sunoh.

Is just me who ever dont happy for Jojo and Hyeong? and totally happy for Sun-O and Yukjo? When i watch the season 2 and saw Yukjo moments I literally crying that i thought she might be just like that girl whos just be part of the third wheel but in the end finally Sun-O came back after. Sun-O really came back and prove to his self that he is not just like a one sided person that in his mind "Jojo is the only one no matter what" but no he prove to Yukjo that he have a feelings and not just like a ordinary feelings a true feelings for her and he keep coming back until Yukjo realized that she is not a unlovable person. I never watched Love alarm out of all the kdramas, because i have my own reason, and the first of 'em all is, this has sad ending, i mean ofcourse not in the second season. So the main thing is, from my outlook, when it comes to love, i don't believe any "Love alarm" and any "dating apps" will find you the partner your soul needs, sure a few of the other people out in the world must have found theirs but then again, maybe it was all interconnected that those will meet through this or that and through some mutual friendship and all. Secondly, when it comes to the "ONE", the "Right person", maybe they patiently and slowly creeps up into our lives and they don't rush things, they stay there, they hear us and shares their own perspective, they respect us as much as they love us. So, i believe in "UNIVERSAL INTERCONNECTION", that's how Sun-oh found his "One" in yukjo, because she stayed there, she never ran away, she proved him her love for him, she believed him when no one did. And above all, she was fine with her being second choice which in my opinion, she was first and the last choice of Sun-oh after having enough shit people in his life. He found his light at the end of the dark tunnel. And that's how he came back to get her back, to get his "Ms. RIGHT" back, not for the second chance. Sometimes we get so blind in loving the wrong person, by losing our right parts that we chose to believe that the another person who right for us and accepts our true form, is also wrong for us. Nevertheless, we still find them standing in our life and staying there, with us forever. God, really has made someone for each one of us, so go with the nature's guidance, because the things around are working in your own favour and making sure you meet your right one, at the very right time.
I open the thread of why everyone is foolish when they say that Jojo is the bad, selfish and heartbreaker when in reality she is the victim:
1.- We begin with that Jojo is 17 years old, her parents committed suicide in front of her when she was 9, she developed various traumas, she also developed self-esteem problems, depression and visible anxiety.
2.-She has 2 part-time jobs where 1 is to tend to her aunt's store so that she can give her the money that she would have to give her because she is her tutor (in the series the aunt says that "she collects her parents' debt" ) and the other is in a restaurant
The money he earns is divided into 3: food, tuition and his grandmother's hospital
* Let's remember that Jojo has a scholarship par excellence and that is why he pays half of what the school charges (Yes she’s in a private school because Gul-Mi has crazy ideas and she forced her mother to change her school).
3.- She is an asocial person who only has contact with her family, with her "friend" and her boyfriend.
None of the aforementioned were interested in what Jojo felt, the boyfriend just wanted her to feed his ego and her friend was jealous of her life because she was insecure of herself.
4.-Her aunt and cousin hate her for existing.
There is really no why, Gul-Mi is jealous of Jojo because she is a good student I guess and she is somewhat frustrated because in her academy they tell her that she is not good enough and her aunt was always jealous of Jojo's mother because she was more cute (since the physique constantly emphasizes it to Jojo and Gul-Mi).
5.-She did not want a relationship, the one she had just tired her.
She met Sun-Oh and although she gave up falling in love, she did and experienced the beauty of her first love, for the first time she felt that she was important to someone.
Sun-Oh helped her open up more, encouraged her to do things (like the trip) and showed the affection that all her life lacked.
6.-Continuing with Sun-Oh
She tells him everything that happened with Sun-Oh and he gives her the hack of the app because he says that it is already becoming a double-edged sword (he also knows that Sun-Oh is half obsessed with the app and the app is the only thing that would drive him away)
Jojo accepts it because she doesn't want to make the problem bigger anymore.
7.-After the accident Jojo wanted to see Sun-Oh but here she realizes the reality: a rich boy did not really fit into his life, she was the parallel line with which he should never have crossed.
Jojo never sees Sun-Oh as her Savior or someone she can take advantage of.
Many say that Jojo is "selfish" for not fulfilling Sun-Oh's whim, but they forget that Sun-Oh's family did not approve of the friendship with Hye-Jeong for being from a family with less purchasing power so they would not approve of the courtship with Jojo.
She tried to talk to Sun-oh and he never answered, she wanted to end in a clear way but since he never appeared he just walked away, Sun-Oh appeared like 2 months later, she was already indifferent (like every normal person) with him.Sun-Oh instead of being a thinking person and asking him, he preferred to let an app decide for him.
8.-It ends with Sun-Oh, as the years go by, she starts working in a better place and has an anonymous blog on Instagram that is quite popular.
She tried to overcome Sun-Oh, she knew that at that point it was already impossible (he was a model and she only worked for hours as a staff) and she knew about the relationship with Yook-Jo and Sun-Oh, therefore she preferred to stop looking for him or try something with it.
9.-Sun-Oh had a girlfriend and still went looking for Jojo to claim what had happened years ago.
Here comes the ✨ consent ✨ Sun-Oh gives her consent to Yook-Jo but only hurts her because he uses her to forget about Jojo and treats her like his younger sister, she is smart, good vibes, she always tries to see what is best for both of them and gives her all her love to Sun-Oh but this "man" only thinks about what he feels without caring about others.
This is seen since he forces Hye-Jeong to tell him if he likes Jojo or not and begins to be infatuated with her, after his whim and that Jojo did not follow what he wanted the victim to do to make her feel guilty invalidating each one of his problems saying "BUT I HAVE SUFFERED MORE FUCK", also only confuses Yook-Jo.
10.-Jojo's development is seen in the 7 chapters and the maturity she has to face the decisions she has made.At the end of the season, Hye-Jeong asks her for an opportunity, she sees it as "feasible" at this point, they have the same maturity, as adults they know that an app does not govern their feelings or actions.
Many say that "Ay Hye-Jeong lost his opportunity" but he worked with her, he knew that she had a boyfriend, obviously he was not going to get involved in their relationship, when Sun-Oh and her walked, he did not get involved either, he resigned himself so that Sun-Oh He was happy, plus he felt that maybe he couldn't offer Jojo much (materially speaking).
Anyway, Jojo doesn't deserve to be hated for not choosing Sun-Oh.
Not because the character is not cute, cloying or that she does not like to beg does not mean that she has not loved Sun-Oh and that she does not have a "strong" or authority character.
She is a strong empowered woman who without anyone's help has come out on her own💜

I feel the reason I was so passionate about this show is because of my real life experience it just had a different ending.
I was basically a combination of hye young and yuk jo.
So my bestfriend and I both fell for the same guy, I knew him first ofc I told her he was just my friend and when I introduced them she said he was unattractive and had no personality. I kept denying my feelings for him but she read my diary so she knew the truth. I didn't feel threatened by her at first because I knew she had a boyfriend and said he wasnt her type so I didn't expect anything to happen. We all started hanging out and walking home from school together because it was the only time we got to spend together since we were all in different classes.
I forgot my phone in class one day and told them to walk home without me.
When I got home I got a picture from a classmate it was of the two of them kissing in an alley way next to her house.
My bestfriend who might I add is also my older cousin and I both agreed it was his decision and no matter what who ever he chose it wouldn't come in between our friendship.
He eventually chose her which hurt me because it wasn't the first time we liked the same person or that someone chose her over me so I broke our promise and started to pull away from them. They ended up dating for 3 months while in school and she ended it because she was afraid he was going to eventually leave her like her parents did they weren't dead her mom got remarried and her dad left the country on work so she had to live with her sick grandmother and abusive aunt. He never understood why she ended it as she just told him that she didn't care about him anymore but he knew it wasnt true and never gave up he was heart broken and depressed and kept begging me to find out the real reason. I didn't want to tell him because that wasn't my place as she made me promised not to say anything to him as she didn't want to be a burden.
It became so uncomfortable I was forced to chose a side so I chose her which ended my friendship with him then she eventually decided to transfer schools...
4 years later he reached out to me through a mutual friend and we reconnected I had no need to tell her as she was in a relationship now for almost 2 years and he never really asked about her either. Him and I grew closer and he decided he'd come to over and hang out. I had prior arrangements with my cousin that day but I decided it wouldn't hurt because we were older now and they've both moved on from their teenage romance. So they both showed up at my house and were caught by surprise then I noticed how they were looking at eachother like their feelings had awoken again They began secretly hanging out together excluding me he kept denying he had any feelings for her and that he respected she was in a relationship She eventually broke up with her boyfriend and here I go again putting someone else's happiness before my own I stepped aside and they started dating then she did the same thing again she started pulling away not talking to him he grew concerned and came to me for help and like the good friend I am I listend to their relationship issues it was hard for me because on one hand I still had feelings for him and the other they made a great couple and I was secretly rooting for them
She broke up with him again with no explanation and began dating other guys as if he didn't matter
