Can’t thank you enough for bringing back some great childhood memories for me!!! I used to love tying a chicken leg to a string and catching a ton of blue crab with a net just like you’re doing in this video… One of my all-time favorite memories… Much love
Rgtfuyu
Always look forward to your content, i love the comedy aspect you bring. And thank you for being consistent! Can't wait to start my channel next year.
Just became an uncle last month and I can’t wait to share these videos with him when he’s older! Just got back from a wacky 10-hour fishing trip, so ironically I missed this the second before it came out lol 😂
Piece of love from Maine!
@P.M Rich thank you man.
These are my favorite types of videos you make! Love the saltwater content.
Its so fun to relax and watch some hiiiiiiigh adventure videos!!!!!
Can’t wait for you to come to California to fish , definitely will have to do a meet & greet.
Micah literally unleashed a WAR on the blue crabs. That croc scene is the greatest😂😂😂
And he won!
I am from Maryland and we steam our crabs. They are delicious. Steam them for 15-20 minutes. You won’t be disappointed. It’s the best way to cook them. Half water half apple cider vinegar and out some jo spice #2 on them
I’ve heard this but then I’ve heard you don’t get much flavor in the meat?
Just got back from cat fishing to this awesome!!!
Cooking bacon watching you cook fish and crab. Awesome Friday thank you brother!
I wanna hang at your house
Man that looks delicious and so much fun with luring crabs in and netting them amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one
Think the boat has been the best investment for the channel so far, love the salt water series
💯 I think back at all the stuff I wouldn’t have been making if I were still in the kayak.
@@HighAdventureVideos man even the streaming while fishing is incredible, definitely not a lot of people doing that! Loved every moment of these videos man, long time fan.

Good stuff. Really pumping out the content.
I’m 11yrs old and a big fan. I’ve met you on the water by Dreher Island a couple years ago…you had just gigged a snake. I found a cool beach spot on Murray today where I caught some slabs, and a cool big rock in the cove perfect for clean/cook. Let me know if you interested in this spot for a future vid. Keep up the awesome videos.
This video makes me so hungry for 🦀
Hey Mike and next time you go to cook your crabs and use your old Bay in your lemon juice try to put like five tablespoons of vinegar in there that helps to meet separate from the shell and it comes out my whole piece is nice and beautiful and you won't even taste the vinegar
I’ll try that thanks!
Not a lot on a blue crab, but if you know, you know. If you’re not afraid of a little effort, best dang taste of protein on the planet IMO. Love it.
not going to lie, im going to try that... awesome job!!
Looks awesome!
Awesome video congratulations on your catch!!!
The ss high adventure grew wings there bro 😂😂😂😂 absolutely awesome.
Wasn’t as majestic as I would have hoped hahahah
@@HighAdventureVideos 😂😂😂😂 hope the skeletal structure is all good 👌😂
Did the same exact thing 2 weeks ago when I was in North Carolina except off a dock, caught a bunch of blue crabs and caught a 14” black drum, was a nice meal, nice video
Best UA-camr on UA-cam keep it up
Thanks Landon
that was awesome looked fun
Sweet video man, Love your content!
This man deserves more subs
Congratulations on the black drum catch, Micah... Another Hiiiiiigh adventure 👍
What a fun video!
Blue crab is delicious. However, if you were not aware, there is a ton of crab meat on the inside of the body. Basically before you cook it, grab the tail of it, and pull it up and tear the top of the crab's shell off. Once you do that, clean the guts in the middle out, then break it in half. Where all the legs meet up to the main body there are large pockets of meat. It's basically the best part.
Great video as always, love blue crabs they taste great. Fun to watch u thx for great videos one again. Be well, u n ur family.
Thanks for the all the great content man keep up the great work
You got it!
@@HighAdventureVideos there are people trying to scam your account. Got a message saying that I won a prize and then asked for money.
Like I’ve said before, you’ve been gifted with amazing natural fishing instincts. Yeah Me Ancient trained you right but it goes further.
Bless your heart. You are cute and clueless. The reason for the snares around the basket is when you pull the line attached to the basket the snares tighten up so the crabs can't swim away. Don't need a net. The snare is the net. 🤪🦀❤ absolutely love your videos. 👍
But I literally explained that in the video?….
Great video! Next time try steaming the blue crab with JO seasoning on the crab, small amount of water 1 beer and 8oz of apple cider vinegar. You might like the way we do it in Maryland fresh out of the Chesapeake bay!
Really liking these saltwater vids
I hated to see video end. Great video my friend.
I loved this video thank you so very much for sharing
Great family videos man appreciate the videos you and ace are a hoot to watch and as always keep the great content coming 👍
Keep it up Micah 👍 love you videos!
Those Black Drum’s are tasty! I caught my PB two days ago 24”. Good video Tight lines!
Great video! About the oyster toadfish (that's what we call them here in Virginia), I've heard people say that they're actually quite tasty if prepared like crab or lobster! Just boil the meat in some seasoning and dip in butter. They don't have very much meat, though, so you'd want a larger one if you were to catch and cook.
Awesome video bro
Nice job keep up the good work
You caught more crabs this time than you did last time with the pots lol. This was a HUGE success.
Keep up the good work... mr high adventure videos
Love your videos from south Africa ❤❤🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Maaan. I laughed so hard when you hit them waves.
Lol you really fully sent those wakes 🤣
Glad you were safe after going airborne! Sheeesh.
Love your videos bro
Crab snares should be fully submerged in the water like a crab pot. We use snares a lot in the California bay area. Mainly if you're crabbing from shore or a pier if you don't have a pot of hoop net
Love your vid
Keep up the good work bro
Ya’ll need to come back to Idaho..and help us grab up some crawdads on the Boise river for a catch &. Cook..LETS..GO…BOISE STATE…love your channel..channels..brother….congratulations on your third little one..
Omg brother you were crushing them crab. I'm gonna try it in the coast down here in Texas. Going to Galveston tring for some. Last trip before winter. Catch a big one.
Those toad fish are a type of grouper.. they taste really good
I wish you and your brother would do another cookoff where your dad was the judge. I really loved those videos.
Micah an easier way to catch fiddler crabs is the night before dig a hole and put a fish head or bait in the hole come back an thelly be in there i like to bury a sand castle bucket
so i have a good size hole and they cant dig out
Dude you rocked it this time! I’d pay to join ya!
Another banger of a video! Making me want to do a crab boil
Ah man… there for a min I was pumped!! Thinking Micah was gunna hook me up! But… this doesn’t look right, I’m thinkin ya got a scammer homie
You could use the smaller ones for bait. At least in Texas you can.
An easy way to catch fiddler crabs is to find a bunch of them dig a hole and put a coffee can in the hole up to the top edge and drop a bait fish or two in it and move away for a while. The crabs will fall in and can't get out.
The beeping from your trolling motor freaked me out I thought it came from inside my truck somewhere lol
Loving all the nice shots you get or the crabs and little fish coming to the bait. U should put a go pro on crab trap so we can see the go in the trap. Or maybe a closer look at the traps u use when u net them. Up close and personal w the crabs lol
Keep up the great content! Love all your videos!
There's a boat landing there in Lexington on the saluta River where I used to put in and paddle a couple miles up stream. The water the is pretty cold so the trout there live year round. You should try to find it and go in your hobie, I'll guarantee you'll have a blast and catch a load of fish. I moved back to VA because I'm an idiot but I can promise if I was still living in Gaston I'd be fishing there everyday I could
Watching your vid on TV and commenting with my phone
I’m better on the big screen 😂🤣
@@HighAdventureVideos the fish definitely are! lol
A brand new catch and cook I see 👀
Next time try leaving the scales and skin on the black drum. The flavors exceptional. It’s called “on the half shell”
Good idea with the shallow snare and net. I mean, if they arent going into the traps maybe hunting them is the way to go
Wow that is so cool super cool ideal awesome video
I cracked at the pancake double flip!!!
Tip for future crab trapping, always take out the fish eyes from your carcases. Specially if it's from a preditorial fish that eats crabs and other crustaceans. I used to use red fish (red drum) carcase in my crab traps and I noticed when I would take out the eyes, I tripled my crab catches. Crabs must see the eyes and either become timid to go into the trap or completely avoid it all together lol. Just a tip sir.
That "croaking" noise is why he's called a drum, Sounds like a drum beat, the bigger ones especially.
you should try lemon juice and butter diping sauce for the crab
If you ever come to Wi there are some big freshwater drum on the Wi river
Micah an old trick to cooking crabs that my grandfather taught me is do not boil them in a pot of regular water and try to salt them that way. Use the salt water and they will be perfectly salted enough from the salt water themselves. They taste so much better that way. I promise.
Take a bucket and drill tons of holes in the bottom and low sides and shovel the mud where the fiddlers have their holes and then sift the mud out in water and your left with the crabs
Was going to say watch those big boat waves no matter how much you turn into it.
You should do more intros like the the last one it’s endearing. Adds character to the video
"Let’s see if we got some willing participants (live bait to be placed on a hook).. maybe not wiilling.." 🤣🤣🤣
Bruh, when I was 17 I had a 14' fiberglass flats boat (like yours) and I was out in the mouth of Tampa Bay (by the Tampa Shrimp Docks) and I noticed a tugboat coming in the opposite direction at full speed. I didn't think that it'd make much of a wake, but as it approached me I realized that I was screwed. I stopped, and faced the rear of my boat toward the wake and rode it out. It was some fairly heavy wake...lmao
Noice catch! You really don't need water (unless you have the bubbler) in the live well. They do better without water.
