CS major here who had to take a couple year break due to covid and family obligations. Getting back to it this spring I'll be taking probability and statistics and I was super worried about it, but hearing you talk about it and watching some vids on youtube it doesn't seem too awful. I've already been through the hell of Cal 1-3 and linear algebra so hopefully it won't be too overwhelming.
I had a similar experience with you math 109 but it was your 109, combinatorics, and pre-dsa in one. Nice professor, basement classroom that was crammed, and it was stupidly hard.

I've been learning and building web projects with JavaScript for about 3 months now, and I'm also watching CS50 to learn more about CS. After entering university, I plan to learn C# and python for my first year , and java for my second year. Is that a correct path to learn languages? Thank you!
@@hyperblitzer4690 I think summer sessions are a bit faster than normal quarters. Also, My DSC 10 class had a conflict with Math 20B so I will not have to take Math 18.
I am considering majoring in math cs at my university. Based on your personal experience do you think majoring in math cs rather than regular cs affects employment opportunities?
Technically you can if you have the prerequisites, but generally computer science classes are restricted to specific majors. Then once all of those majors are enrolled, they will open it to general enrollment.
