Can't say enough how I like Thomen's style... It's so rich and textured... What you brings to the song is so much more than just the rhythmic side of the song, it complements the melodies... I'm a huge a metalhead of every genre but rarely I found a drumming style who is that much in symbiose with the music... I salute you Mr Stauch but your work in BG. Fantastic drumming! No less...
I still have in mint condition this album but Japan edition (22 tracks). Was my 1st Blind Guardian album and hope one day I get Thomen to sign it, he is the reason I heard the band, and of coarse Hansi's unique voice.

I cannot even say by myself if i had a big influence on it, but I hope so and am happy if it is like that. 😅🫶🫶 But, Fred definitely is a killer drummer! He may sound different or play with another style, but it doesn't make him to a bad drummer. He is really good. 🙏🤘🏻
@@ThomenDrumChamber Thanks Thomen! I truly think you add something unique and special in the rythmic department. BG was your school as for all the guy's. So you learned and grow together and the sound was developed by all of you together. Blind Guardian back then, with all of you in the band, was like Maiden or Sabbath or Priest for the 90s because you injected something different, new and fresh to the genre while keeping the music great and familiar. More than Helloween in my opinion even if Kai is a master! You know, i saw you the first time BG came to Montreal. It was for ANATO tour. You played at the Le Medley (doesnt exist anymore) and i remember that show was great but the sound was not top notch because of the soundman of the place. Hansi told us that next time, the band will get his own crew and the right soundman. As he promise, the show after it was incredible with a better sound but you were not there. It was Fred and yes he is a very good drummer, i have nothing against him, i like him. But you stay the true rythmic foundation of the sound of BG that i love since i am 14 years old (i'm 41) and your style stay more creative, impactful and natural for the band because of it. 🤗
