Mixed by Me
This music plays when you face the dreaded Hel-Hound, Garm, unchained and hungry for the blood of one God of War and his boy. This mix was challenging to put together, but here it is. - Ігри
“Home.”
*proceeds to casually open a temporary tear in reality in order to get home*
truly a fenrir moment
I love how high up on the scale of power Garm is. All of the Norse pantheon fears him, ate an entire season, can destroy everything, and even left Kratos shook after his resurrection.
Good boy.
Also would be impossible to beat if Atreus didnt had Fenrir's soul
Garm was literally more dangerous than Ragnarök itself. Ragnarök only destroys Asgard. If Garm wasn't stopped, Freya said he would chew through the fabric of *all* the realms.
@@julianvdr8808 And imagine if after doing that, he were to go after the other worlds... If Kratos's actions in his world were enough to send ripples throughout the cosmos to the point of gods from other worlds finding out about his actions, a giant, eldritch, reality-devouring wolf would reek havoc on all of space-time itself.
@@the_furry_inside_your_walls639 No it wouldn’t get some chains
What season did he eat?
I love how this track is a callback to the Dragon's theme from the previous game. Quite possibly my favorite track in GoW 2018, and they straight up made an even better version of it with Garm's theme. The callback to the GoW3 theme is also a great touch.
Wait, there's a callback to GOW3? When's the part?!?! I gotta have to listen :O
@@theoneandonly24416:45
that's actually a callback to The End Begins (GOW 2 theme)
5:11 IS JUST MY SECOND FAVORITE OST OF THE GAME
6:45 God of War 3 vibes! 🔥
6:45 love the transition between God of Wars new theme and old one :)
Loved it when he slammed Kratos with those chains before he got his neck broken by the pillar
@@AlexTheDominator1453and because of how it doesn’t have a soul, look at garms eyes and compare it to the other animals that didn’t have a soul
@@AlexTheDominator1453 you need be be alive before you die, so it’s either died before or had it’s soul removed…
@@AlexTheDominator1453 then how does it exist?
@@AlexTheDominator1453 just because it’s in the land of the dead, that doesn’t mean it was always dead, besides, he’s killed by Tyr come ragnarok, so how can you kill something that’s already dead
@@AlexTheDominator1453 it’s also in hell, when in the original myth its in Niflheim… so you’re also wrong :)
Garm was no fucking joke man, my dad use to talk about him, how his name is connected to a rag soaked in blood, and how he ten times worse than Fenrir. I love how they made him slightly weary of the Aseir and he thought Kratos was one at first when artreus calls out to him, and he takes off running, when Kratos jumped and stabbed him in the nose, " boyyyeee! " Garm was lock on his ass afterwards, but after his first death, when breaks through that fucking ceiling, that look in his eyes when he's not allowing Kratos to pass, dude I played GOW 1 as a kid and one of the scariest yet badass moments I have ever seen was when the middle head of the hydra unleashes that first primal scream? Man... this ranks up there, Garms a bad ass
I’m curious, when was Garm mentioned as more powerful than Fenrir? To my understanding there isn’t much actual lore in Real mythology regarding Garm, are you sure you aren’t mixing up the two? Bevause Fenrir in Norse mythos is definetively an absolute menace
@@hitrapperandartistdababyTyr and Garm are fated to kill each other during Ragnarök. Fenrir is the one that kills Odin before being slain by Vidar
I like how it reflects the dragon theme from 2018
When I saw him, he reminded me this quote: You have disrespected the gods for the last time, Kratos!
But seriously, he was a really tough guy!
I knew something felt familiar xD
This is some kind of a reinterpretation of Hræzlyr's Theme
I love both tho
There's also a callback to GoW3 somewhere in the middle. Such a great track.
@@the_furry_inside_your_walls639 Can you give a timestamp?

Garm was one of the best boss fights in the game
0:01 The amount of chills
And this is the monster Tyr is supposed to kill during Ragnarok. Shows how strong Tyr really is.
I might be wrong, but I think you mean Vidar. He's originally meant to kill Fenrir, who is basically Garm in GoW, after Fenrir killed Odin.
@AUDIO In the myths, Tyr and Garm kill each other. Vidar kills Fenrir after the wolf kills Odin.
@@Cafearmuire I see, I figured you had it confused with another story.
@@Cafearmuire but isn’t garm and Fenrir the same character in Norse mythology? Or is that just a god of war thing?
@@Shotgun_N_Boots some people theorized that the two were the same entity, but there is no proof of that in the myths, but in the game they decided to Go with that.
Thank you so much for the high quality, and for include both phases. This track is amazing
Thank you. Quality is my top priority
GOWR developer: ok we’re fighting an oversized husky so don’t go crazy with the music, ok?

@@Orange_Juli A remix*
@@Orange_Juli bueno la parte de 5:12 es genuinamente buena, suena como el fin de los mundos...
4:31 chills
This piece is incredible.
5:12 sounds like the end of the worlds...
The beginning sounds like the dragon fight in gow 2018
It's a remix, but a really good one. Now not sure if they changed the lyrics, but I assume they did because tho the singing sounds similar, it's slightly different.
Also, fighting a Wolf while the background singing says "the mighty dragon burns everything with it's fire" wouldn't fit.
That’ll be because it is- just changed a bit
@@TheWarchiefZekeJaegerthat’s what the lyrics were for hraæzlyr’s theme? That’s cool
It's the epic version 😉
That intro is so badass. Really sets how grand of an undertaking the fight is
Is it just me or does it start to sound like the gow 3 theme a little at 6:45
Yeah it does sound like it
I thought the same thing.
It somewhat sounds like Zeus's Boss theme.
Yessss
Dude I didn’t even think of that! That’s amazing!
Thanks so much for putting this together. I was really upset to not be able to find Garm's boss music on the OST.
Thank you, brother. This is magnificent!
This was a very fun level to play
The pillar !! Hurry !!
On it!
9:39 love the addition of Atreus' theme! It shows his involvement in the fight
the violins and vocals here resemble a lot to JENOVA theme from final fantasy 7 remake, which is incredible. Garm battle was fantastic
The best of trees | must Yggdrasil be,
Skíðblaðnir best of boats;
Of all the gods | is Óðinn the greatest,
And Sleipnir the best of steeds;
Bifröst of bridges, | Bragi of skalds,
Hábrók of hawks, | and Garm of hounds
Don't ask Atreus how Sleipnir was born xD
why isnt this released this is easily the best track in the game
At 6:45 it sounds like God of war 3
I was pretty shocked to see some All father leitmotif in the second phase theme
Sounds Like the Dragon theme from the previous GoW
It's super cool
7:40-7:49 is the Dragons theme from God of War 2018
I needed this on Spotify 😭
If I recall Garm was chained up by Tyr. In recorded Norse mythology, however, Tyr and Garm are fated to kill each other during Ragnarök
Wow, great mix, thank you very much ❤️
Can you leave a link to download it, please?
It is beyond reason atreus
this is definitely the type of music i could see playing if kratos fought the hyrda again
Hraezlyr the Dragon and Garm the Wolf have the best themes of the Nordic saga 💙
Beside the name this is more or less our Fenrir fight from norse mythos. Absolutely amazing fight
best boss + the best music
You do have Garm's theme
Garm (FULL VERSION) [Hel-Hound Mix] - God of War Ragnarök Unreleased Soundtrack (By @O-NG5T)
this music starts from were we left in the dragon soundtrack.
Absolutely NEED someone to post the lyrics for this theme
I’m probably wrong about this. But I think this is the first time the old God of war ost is heard, and it’s heard in this fight, maybe it’s because of how powerful Garm is. It reminds kratos of many powerful beings back in Greece
I think it's a remix, of the End Begins, and the purpose is to highlight the similar themes in both arcs. As Kratos represented the end of the Greek Pantheon, so did Garm for the Norse. Since Thor wasn't up to the task.
@@faded9581 ohh yeah that makes sense, sorry bout that
So is this a soundtrack on the original ost? Because when i search up bear mccreary it’s not there unfortunately
It is unfortunately not on the official OST. It is unreleased ost
Must be why the Video says it’s an Unreleased track 😂😂😂 Context Clues people.
