- Drumline A New Beat. Is majorly about this verse James 4.6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Dani seeks to become who she wants to no matter the parents choice. This is a great lesson to teach parents to at times seek to know what their kids are passionate in. We also get to see the consequences of pride in their rival school band and the fruits of Humility. It is an inspiring one you will learn so much.

I wonder why they didn’t have a scene where Devon talks to Dani about how she messed up and Devon tells her about how he was in the same predicament and about how he managed to earn their trust back
Seriously no interaction between Dani & Devon at all, while Devon was going to A&T back in 2002, Dani was in 1st Grade. !!!

Personally, I would've loved to have seen Armandi get his Just Desserts, also there was one thing that I wish could've happened in this Movie. Why was there no interaction between Dani & Devon at all, like him saying: I feel you, I can level with you, when I went to A&T I let ego get in the way too. Because when Devon was going to school there back in 2002, Dani was in 1st Grade. I hope that if a 3rd Movie happens that Dani becomes the new Section Leader. !!!

its not bad ...couldve been way better...i kept finding myself comparing to original...i just didnt like the cable network vibe of it...shouldve took the time and spent the money to make it an actual movie and it couldve had more competition scenes and at night

Nick Cannon(Devon Miles) and Leonard Roberts(Sean Taylor) probably saved this movie from being pulled. I imagine the studio gave the ultimatum in that bring back someone and/or multiple people from the original movie. Or have the movie be canceled altogether.
