Dirty ending Scotty! I screamed at the phone and both kids ran into the room saying, “what’s wrong daddy!” I told them Scotty played a trick on me. Then we spent the next 20 minutes explaining who Scotty is. Another great video as always. Really great watching you become such a terrific content creator over the last decade.
haha thats amazing. I guess the kids will have to watch chapter 3 with ya...
@@WildFlyProductionsLooking forward to Chapter 3 when it drops…..
Scotty…Netflix needs your series! You and your team are killin it 🎥🤝💯
Sorry guys I have saltwater fly fished for over 35 years. Guys should have gotten a guide the first day and show you how to fish the flats. And like trout bone fish can be so picky with color size and what you are imitating. Use your trout brain. All these flies recreate a species and these species move a certain way. And bones know this. Like trout you don’t strip a dry fly like a streamer. Just a thought. But it is beautiful and still looks like fun. You guys always have fun. I love that.
Scottie in the BONE ZONE!!!
gotta find the bone zone baby!
Such a tease with that ending!...can't wait for the next chapter!
Running back for the camera LOL
What a trip! Nice touch at the end too. I anticipate these videos more than I'd like to admit. Can't wait for the next!
This is pretty cool, I hope you get it down with catching these fish. Would be amazing to see you guys fly fish for some tarpon, my dream fish. Keep up the awesome work, phenomenal cinematography.
Thanks!
Oh dear god this Vid made my day. Was a really bad day and once I saw this vid on my YT feed I immediately knew this is what today lead up to be. A magnificent vid from our boy Scotty. Tight Lines my baddah 🤙🏼
Happy to hear that man! Thanks for tuning in.
@@WildFlyProductions absolutely bro. Cuz of your channel I’m planning to take Fy Fishing lessons this summer and enjoy nature to the fullest
You and me, Wilson Creek. Let’s go.
Miss fishing down there. Crystal clear water, nothing else like it.
it's heaven!
Leaving in three weeks for a trip to Abaco and you guys are keeping me hyped. Thanks
New vibe! Enjoyed very much
DUDE!!! Great to see the new kid catch such a HUGE FISH!!!
What a stimulating trip of racing after bone fish. I need to make it a point to do another bone fishing trip on my next fishing trip elsewhere.
Dude you are killing me! My heart rate went through the roof!! Awesome story. Can't wait for the next one!
Scottie definitely had a turtle head the way he was rushing to those bushes. Straight legged and clenching cheeks hahaha! Great video, can’t wait for the next one!
Gotta tie the leader to something on your first nite, and run your line all the way out to the backing. Yank on that shit to straighten it out and remove the coil memory. A year sitting in your salt lake basement…gotta straighten that ish out! Sick vide, watched chap 1 last nite. 🤙🤜
Best shot of the entire episode: trudging down the trash-lined dirt road...rooster crossing...trudging back to fetch the camera. No fish....but, authentic is good.
Next challenge, Hawaii Bonefishing on the fly
content keeps getting better and better and better and better..........
Great video Scotty! I think by the end of the episode I wanted him to hook one almost as bad as he did! 😂
😂 I had a feeling it was gonna end this way. Stoked for chapter 3 🤘🏼.
awesome video
GAH DAM! That cliffhanger is straight dirty!!!!!
Thank you for showing the walk of shame back to the camera😂
Bring it ooooon
Life goal… first comment on Scotty’s video.
You're a legend!
Great video! I have fished that island. It’s very beautiful and DIY fishing is very difficult but at the same time very rewarding. Bonefish will test your angling skills in every possible way. That’s not even mentioning permit fishing……
Have you and the guys thought about a trip to Argentina for the dorado on the fly? I think it would definitely make some good content!
THEY WAY YOU LEFT US HANGING, BROOOO... AT THE EDGE OF MY FUCKING SEAT. lol
27:00 😂😂
Love the vid really a dream to go after bones and on your birthday diy it’s hard to imagine you’ve inspired me to keep on fly fishing and your videos never disappoint.
Ps. I’m the kid who made you the flys at the Denver show so let me know if they work.🙏
Great video. Always enjoy your content! Any plans for more Short Bus Diaries content in the works?
Thanks! No plans for a future Short Bus episode as of now.
Shame 😢. I miss the videos with that crew.
Dang, I was close
When will the next part be posted?
You son a of .....
Dope video, again!
Once you got to the Island did you gather intel from locals about spots ?
Would b great if someone learned how to release bones w/o scraping off the protective slime!!!
Are nets not legal to use on bonefish or ?
u must come donw to south africa and fly fish ffor trout and deap sea fish. if u need a host i got u for that
I'm confused I thought the new guy caught one last video?
why are you making backcast presentations when there is no wind whatsoever?
Never new trash was like that horrible
Errors in the first 2 mins of this video... 1st.... take a dump early in the a.m. before you leave to go fishing. 2nd, always peal off what ever line you are going to cast before you start casting. 3rd, if you hear your rod "swishing" in the air, you are casting too fast. So slow down and let the rod load up, feeling the line and let the rod do the work, not you. Learning how to shoot a bit of line on each haul during your double haul is key to getting the line out quickly with the least amount of strokes to load up the rod for your final shoot. Also, your target is not "at" the fish, it's 3-4 feet above the fish and then letting the fly settle to the water once your flyline and leader completely unfurls (hello....presentation is key here). 4th, always point your rod straight at the fish (not to the side) with tip top guide either at or touching the water surface, when stripping the fly. If you don't, you'll not feel the eat and many bones will pick up the fly and spit it back out before you "think" they ate it. So if they pick up the fly with rod straight at them, with all of the slack in the line gone and rod tip at the water line, you'll "feel" the bump and then immediately follow with a short strip set (not a trout set)! Too much shizzit to comment on the rest of the vid. But a blind squirrel..... ahh, you know the joke! 😹
Noooooooo!
Boners? Sounds like a sausagefest.
Boner 3 o’clock straight out
Atta boy!!!!
