Literally once when I was still being diagnosed a rheumatologist said its not my specialty get out of here.

Thanks for yhe video lenny. ..and you are right its important we get ghe RIGHT doctor. Can i just ask, have you experienced or heard of being wrongly diagnosed with Fnd, when infact you have parkinsons or MS. Ive had FND for many years , and have now started showing signs of Parkinsons. Head rocking, pill rolling, parkinsons gait, head sinking, small writing, and so on. I need to see my neurologist, but am waiting for myself to get even worst,, as im bed ridden, and getting outbto see a doctor is a nightmare ...lol
I have heard of many ms and parkinsons patients starting off with FND ( found on internet ) .
Hi Fredee it is possible to have FND and another neurological condition. I don't know about symptoms specific to Parkinson's but yes I would recommend seeing your neurologist, and having someone video your symptoms to show them when you go to your appointment. In my video when I was talking about getting an incorrect diagnosis, I was talking about people who don't get the FND diagnosis for 3-10 years, because they were originally told something else. According to Dr Stone (neuro symptoms website), it is very rare to be misdiagnosed with FND.
Thanks Lenny. Yes, it even took me 7 years in waiting list in wales, before they diagnosed me with FND. The appointment took only 15 minutes, ( ridiculous after waiting 7 years lol). In that time, my neurologist examined me and asked heaps of questions, then straight away diagnosed fnd. He didnt have time to explain the illness, he just gave me an address for fnd org website and said goodbye. I never saw him again. He said there was no reason to see me again unless i had something more serious.
I hope you are right that my diagnosis is correct....but just wish i had more advice and reasurance .

@@fredeemoon6053 ugh that's horrible! My first neurologist was similar, saying "I don't think it's anything sinister, just go home and rest". The reason I make my videos is to give other people information and hope that they can improve!

Lenny , is there any chance you do a video about coronavirus and the chroonically ill. I am vhronically ill like you, bed ridden and have chronic asthma, so i dont want anyone near me while this virus is around. I know i wont survive this. And this could go on for up to 2 years before we are world wide clear of the virus.
Hi Fredee you should follow the advice of the health department and government in your area. If you are mostly at home, then you probably won't even catch it!
