Great video. Lots of good tips. The biggest bass came from the shallowest area. Florida is just a wonderful place to fish. The scenery and weather is spectacular. The drone scenes are excellent. Thanks John and Berkley and the videographers for the video.
I had no idea that you had a channel. I follow you on FB and instagram. Love watching you fish. Love the tips you give, I'm learning from you.. Thanks very much!
Great video.... I like a zoom fluke in bream or white color or some tpye of craw bait like a pit boss or strike king rag craw. Watermelon candy. You can dip it in chartreuse or orange spike it if needed... Ol reliable is the speed worm color depends on water clarity
I follow you John and love your style of fishing so far back nobody follows you. Rarely do we see you on the main lake unless there is no backwater. Thanks for an entertaining video.
I agree. Good video but more in depth techniques and details of different types of structure. Would love to see some dock skipping especially with a spinner bait. There’s not many spinner bait skipping videos out there. Some information on frame style and blade configuration would be awesome. I’m learning how to skip a spinner bait and I know it it’s easy but I don’t like doing anything that’s easy. I like a challenge. Anyways great video. Thanks John.
Agree about not playing "video game fishing". These days, "old school" usually means bank pounding around things that "look fishy". Nothing wrong with that, and I've caught 'em like that. But it ignores some "old school" facts from the mid-60's: "The home of the fish is deep water. They may migrate to shallows once or twice daily, or not at all. How far they go and how long they stay depends on weather and water conditions, among other factors." -- Buck Perry (the "father of structure fishing"). Good luck out there!
Love the shallow water myself. Glad to see a fisherman. Not a live scope video watcher. I can't even watch bass fishing videos and tournaments because they are boring as halibut
I have tried over and over to use the fire line but it seems to bunch up on my open face reel I've swapped reels and it still does it I love Berkeley products

I hate to think how many bass I have gone right by because I though you had to have 3 or 4 feet of water. Not this year. I am catching good ones much shallower.
I waded alot as a youngster in central Florida and we learned to be quiet and stealthy as possible. U had to or draw the attention of the gators and moccasins trying to steal your catch
While on the higher price side the Abu Garcia Zenon Casting Rod is the lightest and most sensitive rod series they have created that has recently come out, delivering unparalleled performance for the more advanced and or tournament anglers.
Need more of this. Tired of boring offshore scoping with spinning rods I’m over it.
I absolutely agree with you. Scoping might be a great way to catch bass, but it is painful to watch!!
I wish I could like your comment a billion times
Totally. Have no desire to watch clowns essentially playing video games....
💯
Scoping is the Minecraft of fishing
Love that John keeps it old school, this is real bass fishing!!🎣
John has become my favorite pro. What a refreshing take on this great sport.
All terrain fishing! Love it. Go where no one else can go, low pressure and see nearly every strike!
Way to represent the guys that prefer aluminum over glass!! I love my 20ft G3 Sportsman, I can get where the glass won’t go.
That boat is awesome John.
Great video...I always listen closely when John is talking!
I'll tell you what I'm going to have to watch this video again it was great lots of great information there to absorb
That was an awesome video! Hope you keep making these style videos!

Thank you for watching!
I love John Cox. As an Ozarker, this style of fishing is so foreign to me, but it sure is fun to watch.

Good video thanks John
John is the type fisherman that would do very well in tournaments without ffs; that's real bass fishing right there not video game fishing 🤘🤘✌️🖖
Nice video John!👍🏻🎣🙏🏻

It's nice to see someone else that uses right hand bait casters and left hand spinning rods! I can't do a RH spinning rod!
Awsome video!!!

It’s about time
What took you so long
Good stuff. I'd love to see how you fish lily pads.
Thanks John ,keep in mind if you got in there , the fish for sure can get in and out.

Reeling it in so fast the fish skimmed across the top.
Great video, did anyone else notice that rod is 500$ 😂 not for the average fisher

I hope that wasn’t the Zenon he stuck in the water!
Can't win any money this way. Live scope baby.
