A New Path Forward

Last April, we met Philippe Moneret, a retired luthier, in his workshop in Mirecourt (Vosges). This meeting inspired the creation of a film exploring the transmission of artisanal skills to new generations of luthiers.
This film tells the story of how Philippe Moneret generously welcomes Corentin Blais and Valère Rioux, two young enthusiasts of luthiery. Beyond their passion for luthiery, a friendship has formed between them. Today, he dedicates himself to passing on his knowledge and techniques, guiding and inspiring young craftsmen towards creativity rather than imitation. 🎻
