Holy sh*t, that shot of Luke at 7:15 is breathtaking! Well done. Looks like the light from his lightsaber is lighting his face. Amazing.

Sometimes with headsculpts you're left wanting more, a more accurate likeness. I wouldn't have those feelings if I had this, the likeness is more than good enough, and as someone who's not a fan of Disney Star Wars, this figure will do just fine as a representation of Luke in ROTJ.
Great job once again Dean. I find it so frustrating that you're not getting more views. No one does a better job of showing these pieces at their very best.

The belt... same issue as Boba, the good thing is that pleather is not in a spot with articulation like the ankles or elbows, so that should last as long as its not touched
The boots are a shame, I have Dooku and they look almost the same, so same issue. This is why I love Boba's boots, split cut and made of rubber/plastic
But this figure is amazing nonetheless, since green is my fave color for lightsabers I might pick it up too

Mate, what you did with that lighting was incredible. It improved the not quite perfectly captured Hamill likeness exponentially! Fair play, I'd have been posing and reposing and photographing all day! That Vader/Luke shot at the end looks so cool.
Great videography! Man you really captured Luke! It's a great figure! I just picked it up on the aftermarket for a pretty good deal...well less than the MSRP from HT! Can't wait to get it!
You should get some CCFL lightsabers to pair with your SW figures. I just picked up a couple for my ANH Obi and Bespin Luke and let me tell you it is night and day compared to the battery powered LED sabers from HT! The CCFL is vastly superior and pairing a CCFL with this Luke will take it to the next level!

with that diorama and d.trooper looks great,likeness is about 85% but with the hood on looks cool .

Awesome review deano ' as regards to the boots being pleather, I'd buy some angels matte varnish to prevent pleather pealing ..... I've used it on most of my leather boots & had no problems

For the boots: Try to pick up the boots from the Return of the Jedi Luke Figure that sideshow produced (It’s in stock) The boots are plastic and accurate to the figure.
I used to own that figure, I think it’s split cut. Not 100% but it’s worth looking into. Plus you can use the accessories for this figure.

What’s crazy is all my pleather is still in good condition… only figures in my collection with pleather that have started to deteriorate are the Hot Toys Predator’s figure line. For some reason there pleather is in worse shape than the rest of my collection. All 10 of the other preds are fine it’s just those 3 preds…🤷🏽♂️ But the one that impresses me the most is the T-800 DX..! All the pleather on tha fig is still in tip top condition…👀🤷🏽♂️I think it’s because the place I live has a good balance between humidity and dryness.

Mark Hamill's likeness isn't 100% accurate, but it's still pretty good regardless. The eyes look great and I appreciate the fact that they can be moved around. I wished that more Hot Toys figures would utilize the PERS system. It definitely adds something extra to a 1/6th scale figure. The hair has been sculpted really well. The skin has a nice texture. The outfit looks great. In regards to the pleather, I wouldn't worry about the belt either. However, I would worry about the boots in the long run. Though, they do look good I have to admit. Grogu is adorable as always. The diorama backdrop looks amazing for sure. It's one of the best diorama backdrops that Hot Toys have made. The battle damaged Dark Trooper bust looks great in my honest opinion. Luke Skywalker absolutely destroyed it. The light up option was done really well. The part where you had the lights dimmed down and the lightsaber turned on, took the figure to another level. I loved the part where you had the cloak over Luke Skywalker's head with his eyes rolled to the back. It definitely makes him look sinister and menacing. Amazing photos as always! Thanks, Dean! why do you even consider trading a Knightmare Batman. It's like one of the best Batman figure and a hard to get.
