This is my first hot toys figure and currently on the way in the mail. Just after I got it the new ahsoka figure was announced lol, but I can always have both and pose them differently. But reading comments on this I've read about the elbow snapping so I'll be extra careful when trying to pose it.
I too opted for the DX20 since I don’t have space for diorama bases, got mine last week and absolutely love it. Only a few minor gripes is that I wish I could put her arms down a little more but the material of the arms kinda push it back up. And also what makes this a DX in the first place. I figured at least they’d have the little knob thing for the eyes so you can move them around at the same time instead of individually like older DXs but that didn’t happen either. Well regardless the figure itself is fantastic. Thanks for the review!
@The Jedi Knights Watch Agreed many iterations! I 100% agree with u the water effect should have plugged into base Gundam bases do this for $30 releases come on man.
@@thejediknightswatch - Unfortunately, there have been major fragility issues of this figures elbows. My figure was no exception. The silicone areas of the body (as you mentioned in your review does have the metal inner skeletal support, but the slender rod or joint peg that extends from the (hard plastic) lower arm up-into the elbow snaps and there is no manner of "re-pegging" or articulating from there. I only used the lightest touch to articulate the figures left elbow, and heard/felt a brittle snap. Now her arm from the elbow down flops around like a wet noodle.
Thanks for a great video, Graeme. Her outfit and lightsaber hilts definitely have a strong samurai vibe, IMHO. I got the version with Grogu on preorder (not that I need yet another Grogu 🤨) but it's not on my retailer's radar yet, so no telling when I will get it. But that's okay, since I haven't paid for it yet. 😂
They would provide more accessories, but they didn’t have anything else to include. What else would she come with? There’s nothing else in either of her Mando/BoBF appearances that she interacted with beyond the lantern.
@@thejediknightswatch USB started to be implemented way after though. But yeah, an extra head-sculpt would be nice but when have they done that in recent years? Last DX set they did that for was DX17 and Hot Toys wouldn’t do that anymore. As for the hands, I’m not sure what they’d be because she didn’t use force push/pull anyone in either of her live action appearances, nor really did another notable hand gesture that warrants an extra type of hand. Left closed fist I guess? And with the base, when’s the last time they’ve done that? They didn’t even include both bases with the new ‘89 Batman release. Idk, seems like she’s barebones overall. DX honestly has lots it’s meaning I’d say
The DX art boxes are no different from the regular release boxes. Besides getting foam inserts! Star Wars Hot Toys boxes are so boring! It would be nice to get "real art boxes". Like the type of art boxes we get with everything else that Hot Toys produces. This figure doesn't seem any different from the standard releases. DX is supposed to be something extra special! (DX=Detail-Xtra) Great review BTW! I agree with you on the face sculpt... looks like an older version of the Clone Wars Ashoka figure. I ordered this version as well. I don't need another Grogu!
Thanks for the view, but did you watch the whole video? I said she was a great figure and any fan needs to add it to their collection. Head sculpts are subjective. I may see something different than you see. How boring if we all saw the same thing.
As I said in the video I love the figure. No regrets. I do feel the need as a reviewer to find things I like and dislike about the figure. Thanks for watching.

Yes! Isn’t a problem for me but others have had an issue with the elbows. Handle with care.
if she had longer lekkus she would look like an older version of Rebels Ahsoka. Exactly what I wanted either way looks amazing.

Thanks for watching and for the kind words! This figure really steals the show in my display!
Yours reviews are becoming better each time. Your channel will grow with shure!
Thank you for the very kind words! This kind of stuff makes me want to keep going!
Congrats Graham beautiful can't wait. I went with this version as well.
Thanks for watching David! She’s def worth it! Still hoping we get another one when her show starts.

Do you think they will do a V2.0 ? With the show ? I don't know if I must wait to take her or wait
I believe they will do a space suit version since this was released not long ago.
Great review!
Where did you get your risers for your display from?
Thanks for watching! I’m not using risers, just moducases.
@@thejediknightswatch it looked like the figures in the back inside your shelves are elevated with clear plastic risers?
@@clutch9335 ohh gotcha lol. Those are acrylic 2x3 inch risers
@@clutch9335 you can get them on amazon
elbows are seemless or not ? i just want to know if i can bend them without breaking the seemless body under the fabric or not
The seamless body ends right a the elbow so you shouldn’t have to worry about the body, just the fabric

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this release
wasn't the lantern suposed to be exclusive to dx21? 😦
Originally I thought so because they didn’t show it in any prototype images.
What’s the reddish panel on her neck?
It’s under the black neck strap on the front.
It doesn’t look right.
It’s a leather strap/collar that is part of her outfit.

USB lightsabers, a head sculpt with different expression, both bases, more hands, etc
