I legit cried when she was killed by the 3 sentinels. Her increasing desperation and fear was palpable and I felt such sorrow for her.

@@johnsummit101 It is. 'The Gifted' elaborates more on The Sentinel Services between the events of 'The Wolverine (2013)' and 'Days of Future Past(2025)'. In The Gifted, Trask industries are getting closer and closer to perfecting the ways in which Sentinels can adapt to other mutant abilities with Mystique's/ Rogue's DNA, but haven't got there yet. The Sentinels in the show are only small spider-like bots, but as you know, they are eventually perfected into these horrific beasts that are in this UA-cam video.

I love how her power isn’t just the portals, which are super cool on their own, but she also has to possess enhanced spatial awareness and reflexes in order to use the portals as not just a passive means of transportation but actually a defensive weapon. I wish they would do more with her.
Colossus being ripped apart is one of the brutal deaths I’ve seen in this movie

I love how in the series "The Gifted", Blink passes out when she opens portals similar to these sizes, but in the movie DOFP, she just yeets it everywhere with little effort lol 😂

@@dmitritobias no, it doesn't. In the movies, Blink is way more experienced and skilled, living in a post-apocalyptic setting that honed her abilities even more. In The Gifted, she's still learning how to use her powers and by the end of Season 2 she had improved a lot.
throughout the entire series she was not entirely able to visibly control her ability, she lost consciousness as you say, but at the end of the second season she appears from the portal exactly as in the film she does not lose consciousness and can hold the portal without much difficulty.

Her power deserve the Visual Award if theres any. It is just damn beautiful.
Knowing she's the only one in the defense team standing, she has the means for escape but shw can't because she's all alone now. She has to make a last stand, even if she's the only one left.
She could survive when she helps Warpath if the portal works normally. They made the portal way upside down to make Blink easily to killed by sentinel. But still, she is the best support mutant I've ever seen❤

God, I'm not the only one who thinks that the guard shouldn't have killed her since the portal is two-way
Ik this a dead comment but my headcanon is the sentinel "adapted" to the portal and made it two-way when it entered
i want to say she is powerful but also very smart.
i see people saying she can just cut the sentinels with her portals and that she should have trained to close her portals more fast but,
the reason why she got killed in the first fight is because she was saving her teammate so she forgot about the portal.
In the final fight she used her powers defensivly which was smart. if she used her powers more offensivly then she would die probaly before sunspot. Because the sentinels kept attacking her and she choose to defend so that they would get a lot of time. Cutting the sentinels to half is nothing since there are more than 1000.
i think she was avoiding using her powers on them so they couldn't copy her. they knew they couldn't win, they were just trying to buy time for the time travel. if they had her powers, they could jump straight through the vault and stop her too soon.

@@sterjexiii2416 Sentinels in Days of Future Past only seemed to be able to mimic physically transformative powers, things like diamond skin, flame body, ice body, stone skin, etc.
I don’t think they could copy Blink’s power even if they wanted to.

No X-men movie has beaten these post-apocalyptic scenes. The powers, teamwork, and costumes were all top-tier.
God she was so fckn cool in this movie. And a true courageous hero bc she is probably one of the few mutants that could survive if she only looked out for herself, but she chose to help her team mate and defend until the very end.
If only she can move faster, she's my fav and i kinda hope to see her again in future films

@@giosy0072The final scene where Logan wakes up in Xavier mansion is meant to be a send off to the OG cast. They got their happy ending. But yes, I wish I would have seen more of Blink. It would have been badass to have seen her in the end as well with the original cast.

The reason you dont see her is cause the Actress was required to be in the movie, her name was Li Bing Bing. In order for Xmen to be shown in China they wanted a famous Chinese actor to be in the movie. But after X-men she dodged paying taxes in China, so they stripped her fame away.

she did that to protect thunderbird, it’s completely logical because she created a portal and created another portal for the sentinel to go through and come out of.

I don’t think she does when she joined the x-men, but in the gifted series, she could only create portals from anywhere in the world to a place that she had seen before like for example: you’re in a building, and you watch into another building, she can create a portal there. Additionally, her eyes are green for a reason, she can see energy which allows her to see where she teleports. She could also time travel, because at the end of the gifted series, she died, but then she was brought back to life from the future and she teleported to when she died. So, in conclusion, she does not have any limits.

If I'm not mistaken, she use her powers to helps the last Mutant, Erg and a girl, but when she wanted to escape, The Purifiers shot her that make she can not be able to escape, then the portal disappear instead of closed.

The producers failed to showcase her powers and character effectively in the movie. Another epic failure in highlighting such a wonderful mutant character from the comics. I love blink.

It says on the wikia that she could make portals to the moon. She could've sent the sentinels there and close the portals i think
I don't think this movie producers wanted her to be THAT OP because of the plot which demands she and those other mutants die in the hand of sentinels except for Magneto, Prof X, Logan, and Kitty I think Rogue was also alive.

I think, Blink hasn’t weapon. She can throw at opponents teleportation crystals, but nothing more.

After however many years this released, I am only today realizing they establishing in the open scene that Blink's portals will close and sever the sentinels, when she got killed with the arm. But she never uses that again. Bruh she could have been one shotting sentinels with portals.
