That came down nicely, especially considering there's an issue with the UC. There's always a nervous niggle on such occasions! It took me ages to acquire the knack of straightening bent wire components. I remember this being the brain of the Kiel Kraft rubber power devotee - once the prop shaft on your Eaglet's bent, it's tricky to put it right. I'm glad this much loved Spit XIV came through this! Nice one Gina. 🌟👍
Thank you, William! I did manage to bend the offending leg back into position. I was surprised at how much I had to trim the aircraft to compensate for the dangly leg... I must remember to dial out what I added for the next flight! 😄
Kiitos, Finnishrc-pilot! I've never had a bad flight with this Spitfire and this flight is the only time I've had a problem. I bent the gear back and now there's no problem ☺ It's a wonderful model.
Hi Gina, Another nice flight, take off and landing. I've got the same mark Spitfire from E-Flite and I have to admit she hasn't done much flying. I thought it was a bit slow compared to the Durafly Spitfires I have, but other than that it flies well. I couldn't help myself. Today I went and purchased the Freewing BAE Hawk in the typical Red Arrows colour scheme. She has retracts with fully sprung oleos, flaps and lights. Runs on 6s 3300ma to 4500ma Lipo, so it won't be short on power. I've had this make before and they are quite ok, so, I'll probably get it together this week and wait for suitable weather. Catch up next video. Cheers, Lee.
G'Day, Lee! Thanks for that, chap! It's the slowness that I like in this model, and, well... most of the E-flite 1.2m offerings. I suppose being a soppy girl has quite a lot to do with that, though! 😄😄😄 All the best with your new BAe Hawk, Lee! Spec sounds yummy ☺☺☺
@purcellrcaviationchannel At one time the market was saturated with Spitfires. It's going to happen again...like any resurgence trend. Be patient Little paws 🐾.
Wave Off - WAVE OFF . . . Go around . . . 'Oh - all right'. Good job getting your sweet Spitty back aboard! - It's a shame when the landing gear starts acting persnickity. It's sort of an offense to the svelte lines of an airborne Spitfire. And it's hard to shoot straight when your plane is asymmetric.
Very nice Gina!!!
Thanks very much, LoveRC! 👍👍
Gina wow fantastic take off and landing. Great flying, well done. Jeff in LA USA.
Thanks very much, Jeff! ☺
Nail jelly to the ceiling...LOL! Great flight Gina, and that landing was fine...
Thank you, Adam! ☺ Still so much more room for improvement, but I'll keep plugging away at it.

Always great to flying a Spit, great landing and take off from your runway 😊
Thank you, Chris! The landing took two bites, but yeah... she came down OK.
Spitfire flies great as always. There is also nothing bad to say about the landing. Good flight! 👍🌝

Love it, love warbirds.. I've been trying to work in touch and goes and leave the great down most of the time..
Practice makes perfect, Cap'n... NSTRC!
Wonderful as usual 👍🏽
Thank you very much! ☺☺☺

@purcellrcaviationchannel Thanks Gina, at least your enjoying it. When I get to fly the Hawk I'll let you know how it went.
Cheers,
Lee.
Any landing you can walk away from is a good one - at least that's what I keep telling folk at the club!
Haha! They're probably jealous of you now, after that perfect 3-pointer landing with your Spitfire ☺
Better and better 🎉. Sliding it in like a pro😊. Pretty Spitty ❤
Thank you, Dale! She's a pretty thing indeed, and it surprises me that HH never brought it back to the market.

Haha! Thanks, JR! Yes, nobody wants an asymmetric Spitfire 😄 It managed the take off OK, though, but it's since been 'persuaded' back into place 😁
your spit is as quiet as my EV... :D
...and my own EV, too! ☺☺☺ Electric power FTW!
Wonderful as usual 👍🏽
Thank you very much! ☺☺☺
