    chola dosai:
    Idli rice - 2 cups
    cholam- 1 cup
    Urad dhal - 1/2 cup
    Fenugreek - 2 tsp
    Garlic chutney:
    Garlic - 20 cloves
    Tomatoes - 1
    Red chillies - 12 to 15
    Tamarind - little
    Curry leaves - few
    Salt - to taste

    Very very nice receipe Revethyka. Thus is a very good grain. I live in Hanoi, Bellary District , Karnataka once upon a time this belonged to Composite Madras state and was called Madras Presudency before State formation in 1956. Here the staple food us Jiwar or cholsm. They make rotti or mudhe with chola mavu I have made disai, paniyarsm and also. With a variety of grain combinations. Thus is a very health option. I am glad you shows it.
    By the way you mentioned that some viewers say you talk. Really I don't understand what they mean. You give clear instructions and measurements and pro and cons, that a viewer can never make amistake. What us special about you I'd you give credit to whoever contributed that knowledge to you. It simply shows how humble you are. Please ignore such comments. And teach us the way you teach. Dint change. I have heard @bout Kayla vathakizhambu. Another lady had fine it in pothigsi but I had visitors and could not see properly. Could you please do it some time please. Thank you.

    in karnataka people use sola mavu
    with rice flour and maida.
    and spread on thava like rava dosa
    this is instant sola dosa.
    same ingredients of rava dosa.
    substitute with sola mavu instead of
    rava

    Kambu or ragi dosaikum same quantity than use pannanuma replace of cholam sollunga.
    Nan kambu, ragi mavu use panna marten. Thaniyamagathan use pannuven so pls sollunga

    Hi amma, my amma use the same ingredients for poondu chutney, but she grind all the things and then cook in oil in low flame. I'll try your method also. thanks for sharing

    Hello Revathy Amma........kambu dosai......very healthy and interesting recipe. And the garlic chutney seems to be amazing. Will this chutney be a good combination with our regular idli and dosai? Actually we use to make chutney with the same ingredients with a slight change in it in which we have to fry the red chillies and with that we have to grind little amount of raw garlic and Curry leaves with very little tamarind and salt as per taste. Then add enough gingelly oil to it. No need to cook or give tempering to the chutney. It also taste good but only drawback.......after having that chutney it becomes awkward to talk with anybody.     Hi Aunty, how are you? I made this batter with parboiled white sorghum. I used 3 cups sorghum, 1 cup idli rice, 3/4 cup thol uzhundhu. Dosa didn't come out crispy. Is my combination right aunty?
