    Congratulations on the new addition. Why did you go with the 7.3 instead of the 6.7 Diesel? Can’t wait to see how it operates! I’m in the process of building my company so videos like these helps a ton thanks in advance.

    Thank you for the awesome video. I’m curious, why did you pick a hooklift instead of a rolloff system?
    Thanks!

      The tight spot maneuverability plus you can unload and load the dumpster without getting out of the truck

    Wow that's a good price for the whole build. There's literally no trucks on the market where I live the price jacked up 15k CAD without a tarping system but the truck is brand new still on order till the end of March.

      The market is crazy right now. I'm not looking forward to the day we need to buy another with prices like they are.

    Are you going to modify your PJ boxes to fit the hook lift? What do new dumpsters cost vs modifying your existing dumpsters.

    • @lakechamplainsanitation7226
      @lakechamplainsanitation7226  2 роки тому +1

      We are going all new. It's expensive but we are going with a tub style somewhat similar to the PJ's. New is about $6K per container plus freight

    What size dumpster and length?

    Is that a 36 hooklift? If so any problems seeing how to hook up to the can from inside the teuck ? Some warn against a 36 for that reason but maybe just a problem in larger trucks hard to find 54 on a truck like that

    • @lakechamplainsanitation7226
      @lakechamplainsanitation7226  7 місяців тому

      This is a 36”. In our truck it’s very easy to see/use but could probably be an issue on a taller truck

    Have you weighed the truck with the hook and tarp to see how much more gvw is available from your 22000. It's a nice setup brother

    I have recently found your channel and I have really been interested in how you run your business. I am currently in the same line of business, but our residential equipment is completely different from yours. I hope you the best.

    The rear of the cab to axle is how long and how large of cans be pulled?

    • @lakechamplainsanitation7226
      @lakechamplainsanitation7226  Рік тому +1

      Kind of…typically the 120CA will be a 12-14’ can and a shorter CA such as 84”- 108” May only be able to do 10’-12’

    So the next video you need to add up the cost of say 10 cans and the new truck.I'm guessing the cans are 6-7 grand a piece so all in you are probably looking at $160 grand.Then break down what it costs to service that debt and pay an employee to haul your loads.How many loads do you have to haul each day to generate enough profit{ not gross, but net} to make money.You really need to lay out the numbers so people can understand that this is a serious investment and it takes serious balls to sign on the dotted line.I speak from experience.I have 2 tandem axle rolloff trucks ,a 2019 Volvo VHD and a 2020 Kenworth T-880.I also own 90 - 30 yard cans outright.You can make money in this business but your viewers need to know it comes with a lot of sleepless nights.Nice truck.BTW my company pulls between 10-18 loads per day.

      @@lakechamplainsanitation7226 I will leave that to the experts like yourself.I tip my hat to you.My only bit of advice is to diversify into some commercial construction.Some of these big jobs I get on last over a year and I am still on a large job that has gone on for 3 years..For me,that's where the money is at but I live in Central Ohio and we have massive growth.along with tons of commercial construction projects. Also, don't know how you feel about working with waste brokers.DM me if you are interested.I just finished a roofing job that lasted 5 months and we pulled 4 loads per day off the job.Got the job through a broker who has used my company before.Gotta do whatever it takes to make money

      @@stevecrane1125 unfortunately here the largest construction might take 6 months lol unfortunately not a lot of money or growth of commercial buildings / businesses here but I will definitely pass that along to people who ask me questions in bigger cities!!
