Fun fact: the Toy Story world in KH 3 is actually canon to the Toy Story films. The creators of the movies actually wrote the story for Square Enix and Nomura to use in that world. Apparently the story actually takes place between Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3. The fact that Buzz and the other toys canonically met Sora, Donald, and Goofy is amazing! It also means Woody roasting Young Xehanort is canon!
gato: well that was more of a refference in the third film with will shadow: i saw someone edit in a let's play put the "YEET" clip in when vanitis was thrown in the door but also i feel like the toy box was a bit better for three reason: 1.the roast from woody 2. just the graphics in the world feel like the moving 3.the story was a bit better then the M. inc world because Randell wasn't that great. plus i like the toy story movies more. surprisingly he didn't mention the 4th movie.
Speaking of which, it really is funny that Kairi and Princess Elise III look alike (mostly, not entirely) and yet the former is so much prettier than the latter from both the inside and outside. It is definitely a dick move that would be committed by Lily Orchard (aka Jerry Peat) to treat Kingdom Hearts like crap in favour of Sonic '06, which admittedly, SEGA at least seemed to try hard with as rushed as it was.

I like the end of the world for its design and really tough heartless, also it has the chernobag battle, hollow bastion is better in terms of story and plot twists. Not to mention mysterious man (xemnas) battle

The treasure spheres in the Gummi Ship segments of KH3 feel extremely derivative from the map in Planet. I have a feeling that's the closest we're getting.

Okay, Hollow Bastion. Not gonna dispute your choice at all, I fully agree. Just wanna throw in a few anecdotes. 1) Be honest, Josh: Halloween Town has to have been a close second for KHI. 2) Oh, Riku-Ansem. I remember on your old Top Ten Worst KH Bosses list where you kind of excluded him because “his infant came from not being able to skip cutscenes”. I last fought him in 1.5 where you could skip the scene, and I STILL think he deserved a spot. Cutscene aside, he just attacks you non-stop and it’s extremely difficult to deal with (like seriously, you thought Ursula was worse on the Leaf Bracer front?). Ironically, I really wanted him to use his ultimate Dark Aura attack, as that was the one thing that was easy to dodge and gave me my only opportunities to catch my breath. And yes, I fully acknowledge that boss countdown is old. My intent was not to attack old and likely outdated opinions; Hell, even if they were new opinions I wouldn’t mean to attack them. I just really wanted to tear into Riku-Ansem since Josh brought Hollow Bastion up.
The world that never was is my favorite world as well, but for more aesthetic reasons because I've always loved how the world looks amazing too along with stuff that happened in there, that's why I still loved it in dream drop especially with them colorful buildings. Btw sacred distance, the theme of the world that never was in ddd is my favorite world music imo followed only by neverland ost from 358 days specifically.
honestly my number one just has to be the Keyblade Graveyard re-visit in KH3, it's just so damn good and there's so much emotion in it, and it's the perfect place to end it all, and it genuinely had me crying in joy at some points, course I don't think I can say a lot about it because the internet would deem it spoilers soo....yeah xD

Of course but is quite annoying even at an intermediate level beyond that of Toy Box to fight the mechs. At some point they flooded the overall experience of the world to me. Especially after playing Beat of Lead and worse if you try to 100% the game If ignore the mechs then Toy Box is perfect for the world outside of closure for the toys which wouldn't even been that hard to pull off

There is so much I love about it: the desolate design, the haunting music, the story behind it, its involvement in the story. It's a grim reminder of what Xehanort is trying to accomplish, what happens when the balance isn't kept, and those who were unfortunate to take part in it. It's more than a world; it's a motivation. A motivation to stop Xehanort once and for all. That, in my eyes, is what makes the Keyblade Graveyard so amazing.

Can you do a top 10 of your favorite voice actors and voice actresses who did come back and reprise their roles for the Kingdom Hearts Saga. And I am talking about the previous Voice Actors and Voice Actresses who did play their characters from our Beloved Disney Films from The Little Mermaid to Big Hero 6!
Personally, I would have put the Toy Box much higher. Having Wallace Shawn and Johnny Ratzenberger reprise their roles was fantastic, and seeing Sora roll around on the iconic Luxo Ball was utterly surreal.
I always liked the unstated "Welp, we're probably gonna die here." vibe that runs as an undercurrent in Riku and Sora's conversation when they're stranded on the dark beach. Sure the actual dialogue is a cheesy but it comes off more as two guys who know there's not much they can do about the situation saying their goodbyes.

Being as it is Kingdom Hearts month, question, what would be the top ten (Disney/Pixar) worlds you would want to see the most in Kingdom Hearts 4 installment whenever they decide it comes out?

I personally think from a level design perspective kh1 is by far the best when it comes to worlds also the feeling is the best especially traverse town and end of the world. If the next kh would have the style of kh1 worlds with a bit of mystery (no treasure list or something like that) it would really benefit the rather irrelevant disney worlds because kh1s charm is that there is so much mystery. The platforming from kh3 is good but could be even better and i wished that we would get a real hubworld like traverse town in kh1 and a realy final world like end of the world in kh1 also it would be good if the worlds were more involved with the heartless and kingdom hearts like (again) in kingdom hearts 1
I personally thought KH1 Wonderland was the best. It was just downright creative, visually appealing, design wise interesting to explore, and the enemies were so memorable you see them in almost every game. Also it had impact on the main plot and was fine in general.

Has anyone else noticed that those Mech toys were ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE TOYS?! Walk to one of the counters in it and you'll realize these childrens toys are taller than the cashier counters! About the same size as a preteen or a young teenager at most! Those things must be very expensive and HEAVY TO BRING HOME
IDK, I feel like The Caribbean was A GIGATON better than any other world in KH3 . . . in the postgame. Toy box was just hard to navigate and kinda forced you to use the gigas while the Caribbean has SO MUCH to do in terms of exploration and gave you so many options to do it. Granted during the main story the Caribbean is a giant mess, but in terms of an actual world it was AMAZING. Also I think End of the World is the best Kingdom hearts world in general, owed mainly to its masterful execution of its hollow and solemn atmosphere
Since we speak about songs. i expect that the other promise and vector to the heavens are both there, where? i dunno but i bet they are there somewhere
I got to wonder after kingdom hearts 2 epic and grand final...how did we down grade in 3 I mean sure the keyblade graveyard had a cool atmosphere and the heartless tornado was cool , but the triple/double boss battles with organizations 13 felt rushed and easy at times (considering siax can be defeated without you doing anything and letting Roxas deal with him) only for the final area to just be a fancy looking arena and the final boss being a close second to xemnas final battle and unlike 2s satisfying ending, we just got a bird from a game that took to long to advertise the next one instead of being it's own thing
A big part of it is the stupid-ass decision to not simply end the first story arc with KH2 and move on to something new. Continuing with Xehanort and Organization XIII and all that bullshit and hyping KH3 as the REAL ending of the story arc helped caused the letdown.

Toy Box was the main reason I preordered KH3 a year and a half before its release. And at that point, I didn’t even have a PS4 yet.
My most favorite Kingdom Hearts worlds are Pride Lands, Land of Dragons, and Space Paranoids/The Grid.

I personally think from a level design perspective kh1 is by far the best when it comes to worlds also the feeling is the best especially traverse town and end of the world. If the next kh would have the style of kh1 worlds with a bit of mystery (no treasure list or something like that) it would really benefit the rather irrelevant disney worlds because kh1s charm is that there is so much mystery. The platforming from kh3 is good but could be even better and i wished that we would get a real hubworld like traverse town in kh1 and a realy final world like end of the world in kh1 also it would be good if the worlds were more involved with the heartless and kingdom hearts like (again) in kingdom hearts 1
I personally thought KH1 Wonderland was the best. It was just downright creative, visually appealing, design wise interesting to explore, and the enemies were so memorable you see them in almost every game. Also it had impact on the main plot and was fine in general.
Underrated world. Loved the design and tons of stuff to interact with.
Navigating could get confusing, especially with assembling the evidence.
a star wars world set in the clone wars would be epic and then have them (kh crew) revisited during return of the jedi

The worlds i wish they would add in Kingdom Hearts is Robin Hood and Zootopia. At least Robin Hood for KH2 and Zootopia for KH3.

Has anyone else noticed that those Mech toys were ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE TOYS?! Walk to one of the counters in it and you'll realize these childrens toys are taller than the cashier counters! About the same size as a preteen or a young teenager at most! Those things must be very expensive and HEAVY TO BRING HOME

IDK, I feel like The Caribbean was A GIGATON better than any other world in KH3 . . . in the postgame. Toy box was just hard to navigate and kinda forced you to use the gigas while the Caribbean has SO MUCH to do in terms of exploration and gave you so many options to do it. Granted during the main story the Caribbean is a giant mess, but in terms of an actual world it was AMAZING. Also I think End of the World is the best Kingdom hearts world in general, owed mainly to its masterful execution of its hollow and solemn atmosphere

Personally I liked Carribean more than Toy Box
I got to wonder after kingdom hearts 2 epic and grand final...how did we down grade in 3 I mean sure the keyblade graveyard had a cool atmosphere and the heartless tornado was cool , but the triple/double boss battles with organizations 13 felt rushed and easy at times (considering siax can be defeated without you doing anything and letting Roxas deal with him) only for the final area to just be a fancy looking arena and the final boss being a close second to xemnas final battle and unlike 2s satisfying ending, we just got a bird from a game that took to long to advertise the next one instead of being it's own thing
A big part of it is the stupid-ass decision to not simply end the first story arc with KH2 and move on to something new. Continuing with Xehanort and Organization XIII and all that bullshit and hyping KH3 as the REAL ending of the story arc helped caused the letdown.
