    The same speed as an 1100 isnt cutting it for a bigger heavier bike, do you think it would be difficult to swap the motor out for something stronger?

    • @JohnnyPrimeCC
      @JohnnyPrimeCC  Рік тому +2

      I think the move is to swap out the controller so you get the full potential out of the 1800W motor, but yes you can definitely throw a 3000W motor on there since they're basically the same size hub I think. I feel like we are going to see some sick/fast mods of this bike in time.

    Great points about the “emotos” marketed as e-bikes. The crackdown is bound to happen because it’s already happening across the country. The UF is a freaking great bike. Totally worth the price especially with your discount!

      I hate to see it happen, but I think eventually NYPD is going to start dropping the hammer -and the first to get scooped will be surrons/talaria, and then anything that looks like a motorcycle, like onyx.

      @louie718 I once saw NYPD crush about 200 dirtbikes, trikes, quads and other stunt motos during the lockdown. They will definitely come for ebikes now that the battery fires are getting a lot of media attention

    This e-bike checks all the boxes for me. Yes, I prefer mid-drives but those are few and far between and I already have 2. The 3 inch wide tires are perfect, I have 27.5x3.00 tires on my mountainbike and they are the perfect compromise between fat 4.0+ and mountainbike 2.2 inch wide tires. Time for class 2 e-bikers to take back our sport that's been destroyed by sur-ron and talaria e-dirtbikes being misused. I'm a new subscriber and big fan.

    Have you gotten to test this bike on hills? I’m not in a city that’s mainly flat, I’m in a very rural, hilly area. I want a zooz solely for fun, I won’t be commuting or anything, just something to have fun with and bring with me on camping trips and vacations. Ive already gotten my 5 year old a little e-bike. So I’ve been wanting the 750 because I’ve seen shreddy mcskates reviews, along with every other zooz review I can find on the 750 and 1100, and I was surprised how the 1100 really struggles with hills and couldn’t make it up some. The 750 was just cruising right up very steep stuff like nothing even with him stopping at the bottom of them. So for me who really just wants to shred around, do wheelies, and be able to go up large steep hills, do you think the 1200 is up to that? Or should I stick with buying the 750? Thanks man, love your videos.

    • @JohnnyPrimeCC
      @JohnnyPrimeCC  Рік тому +1

      The 750 will be better for climbing hills most definitely. But volt sag and maintaining speed will be better on this beefed up motor. With the improved pedal assist I think you'll be almost even between the flex and the 750 for hills. Just a matter of preference but the 750 may edge it out slightly

    • @JohnnyPrimeCC
      @JohnnyPrimeCC  Рік тому +1

      @JTGilgo Yikes! I think unless you're getting into high torque bikes like surron or talaria and upwards, you might have some trouble with any ebike at those grades. I'm not sure what our highest grades are here in NYC but I don't think I've climbed anything that steep here yet

    • @TheNotoriousJTG
      @TheNotoriousJTG Рік тому +1

      @@JohnnyPrimeCC That's not a constant, and I can avoid most of the steepest spots (which sometimes top 30%), but 20+ is unavoidable for short distances on necessary routes.
      On the plus side, I have quick access to the longest rail-to-trail system in the country (which is flat AF), so maybe I'll pedal a little. 😅

    • @JohnnyPrimeCC
      @JohnnyPrimeCC  Рік тому +1

      @JTGilgo I think the flex will be best because it has a stronger motor. The 750 has the most front end torque but without the top speed of the flex you'll be going up the hills to slowly. Also with peddle assist it will be a huge help in any case

    Another great video as ever. I have to agree with your sentiments when folks are saying about the Talaria, it's in a different class. Also, you mentioned the Zooz the price is high because the quality is high, again, have to agree, the components that Chris from Zooz has used are of excellent solid quality. Also, the Zooz bike I have is definitely a show-stopper, every single time I go out on mine I always get many questions thrown my way. Keep up the great work as always.

      @BLAC_WORX extremely different. Whether it's legal to even ride the bike is one thing. Slow rolling though red lights when no one is around is quite another. Act like you don't break speed limits or come to a complete stop every time. Go ahead.
