I recently discovered your channel Kurt. Iquitos has a special place in my heart. As a Canadian, my other half and I work in Iquitos almost every other year to help build a home for abandoned and neglected children. I've yet to find a channel that shows areas like Iquitos and the charm that the island has. I vividly recall when we were on a plane back to Lima from Iquitos then on our flight back to Canada having a conversation with a woman asking where we were visiting in Peru. When we mentioned Iquitos - she had zero ideas of where it was... she thought the southern regions of Peru were the only major areas to visit (being the Incas and the mountains). You got to experience a bit more of the tourist side of Iquitos but, if you're ever back I'd suggest getting a deeper view of Belen (with a friend), visit some of the native tribes (with a friend), do some dolphin spotting on the amazon, or experience some of the largest native fish there - paiche. The bridge you saw is now completed and it connects Iquitos to Nanay. It's the largest bridge in Peru and has prospects to connect a lot of people that are inaccessible by road through the region.

@@shaytzafrir I think if you go into any relationship generalizing about all women or all men are like this or... only the good people are over here! it's just a pretty bad head space. Na fr 🤣
The cat Luna had the prettiest eyes and the interaction with Mitilda was awesome
I just want to say is that you're an awesome person!! for building those home's for the children. I hope that you''ll have many blessing in your life.
@17:45 Matilda's affection is expressing gratitude for the treats she got. Humans can learn a lot from those beautiful and innocent animals in nature. 🐒
To come in contact with a wild animal and feel their energy is Awesome. I'm glad they take care of her.
I am so addicted to this channel, Kurt is real, funny, and fearless...
Went to the Amazon when I was 9 yo back in 1979 and conditions were not that great. Watching this is just amazing!...will definitely stay there. Thx.
0:11 Did you know that the lead-colored metal house was built by Gustave Eiffel the same one that created the Eiffel tower, it was in front of INEI?
Matilda and Kurt melt my heart in this video OMG!So many emotions Kurt with his videos is bringing to me. Seems that all his journeys im into too. Thanks from all my heart! Strong hug from Lithuania
Peru is sacred! So beautiful!
Love these RAW footage's, they are simply beautiful, spontaneous and incredibly interesting. Keep the great work mate. Cheers from Belgrade, Serbia :)
Hope you had a nice stay and enjoyed our country :)
This dude is living a dream of many. I'm happy for you, live the best of your life.
Haha...an Everton (football) supporter in the middle of the Amazon, the reach of European football teams around the world never ceases to surprise me. Great video Kurt, looking forward to your next adventure...
I thought the same thing, who did he have on the back or was it no one, actually now I think of it there's alot of South American reach you have richarlison, mina and Rodriguez
was just thinking this, usually you see people in isolated areas with man utd or barcelona tops and this dudes rocking the everton top haha
Respect for making sure the snake wasn’t harmed!
That monkey experience was the cutest thing i've ever seen! The little guy just wanted some love
WHERE ARE YOU MY MAN. Lol hope you are well miss the videos! Actually planing trips because of you it’s amazing what a advrage person wouldn’t know about the rest of the world. Not just their own town.
I need someone to look at me the way Kurt looks at Matilda
where do you live? :D
No thanks!! We rather be with Matilda. Your kind can learn a few things from her, like affection, gratitude, trust and purity of the heart and mind. Can you see that???
@Max Stone Your kind? LMAO Bitter much Max? 😆
@@stricknice5260 the guy is generalizing, that’s true, but most modern women in modern days are like that unfortunately, but hey if your asking yourself from time to time, where are all the good men are??
The answer is , as far from you as possible, possibly in Peru.. single , happy and playing with other primates.
There in Peru
@@shaytzafrir I think if you go into any relationship generalizing about all women or all men are like this or... only the good people are over here! it's just a pretty bad head space. You could end up projecting a lot of bad stuff and ultimately self sabotaging. Alicia commented that she wished someone would look at her in a loving way as well and that's not a comment to get angry about and put that person in a negative box, but someone to have compassion for. unless that is, you're an unhappy person projecting all your negative experiences onto someone else.
The contrast between the previous vids is so amazing, this one is so beautiful, seems like something out of an utopian sci fi movie, while the others ones are pure dystopia... Still incredible, Peru is amazing, thank you for sharing!
It’s the human connection across cultures and countries which in so heartwarming to see, your videos illustrate this perfectly! Great video dude as usual!
Veronica Pascucci agreed! It’s wonderful!
Literally Nobody:
Kurt: swims in total darkness in the Amazon
Absolutely giving me goosebumps 👀
@@InaKneisel 👀
Isn’t their anacondas and pythons in those waters?

The sound of Hippo or Crocodile nearby, Kurt always lucky in dangerous places 13:23 😂
Kurt angel in his trips is that he always acknowledges everyone..right there that means a lot to people.
This man really just canoed around the Amazon with Curious George
Kurt: Can we bathe in the water
Man : Yh sure we swim in it all the time
5 mins later Kurt: Apparently there are piranahs in the water :)
piranhas won't do owt
To many Richard Pryor movies lol
@@Bizarius1 there's 500 deaths a year from them, and it happens typically in the amazon
Snake handler by day and swimming with the piranhas at night.
@@nickm340i what’s the worlds population again? Better safe than sorry I guess
Thank you for the tours of very unknown places and you have "cojones" by not being afraid of dangerous and unknown places. Now people know how other human beings are living in such poor conditions and still they are content with the little they have, blessings
Thank you for blessing us with these 30+ minute episodes of my favorite show
Iquitos and the Amazon jungle must be one of the most exotics places in the planet....I visited that place more than 20 years ago and also swam in the Amazon river.......hope one day I can go back.
Thanks Kurt for sharing. Wonderful place and great video 👍
Hermoso mi pais Peru. Cuanto hecho de menos la hermosura de sus tierras , paisajes, ruinasy sobretodo la mejor comida del mundo !!!
I visited Iquitos and Amazon jungle last week. I share your videos with my friends and family. You are really good at capturing authentic and unscripted moments in Peru 🇵🇪 Thank you
Kurt: "Oh wow, that snakes looks so poisons! Not gonna mess with him."
Proceeds to mess with him.

Kurt man, the bonding time with Matilda was beautiful. She was sweet as hell. Very touching and moving! The soft side speaks true to your character. Great content as always. The pink dolhin was awesome as well along with the snake. I love mother nature and all she has to offer. The rawness and purity of your videos are second to none. Stay humble and wild. Much love brother.
This is one of your best videos! Love seeing the monkey, snake and dolphin. You are so brave swimming in that water, especially at night!
Felicidades Kurt ya q en tan solo un año de viaje por suramerica, tu comprensión y pronunciación en español mejoró considerablemente.
I aprreciate that a Gringo teach me more about some places of Peru than school, even if I´m peruavian. This country is really amazing and it seems that always is something new to learn. Good luck men... and don´t forget about Armando!
He's not gringo he is South African
I've just recently found your channel and can easily say I've found my favourite, I've wanted to really experience other cultures since I was young. And your videos are pushing me to take the first step in actually persuing that dream.
Thanks Kurt
The interaction with Matilda was one of the most incredible bits of footage I have seen in a long time.
Been a fan of Kurt for a while now he is a great content creator/UA-camr enjoy his videos god bless hope all is well my brother
Kurt: I don't want to mess with this snake
Also Kurt: Let me invade the snake's space and touch it with a stick
Kurt and Matilda make the greatest video. Touches on every human emotion!
Kurt you are so brave, you have a free spiritus. Matilda can feel your great energy. One of the best UA-cam videos!!! Magic place! It is so beautiful there! Thank you.
Favourite time of the week, a Kurt upload! Keep up the great work!
This has been my favorite one yet!! I only found you a week or so ago Kurt but I've enjoyed coming along with you on this journey so much! It is so inspiring, thank you for your fearlessness and bless your soul! Stay safe my friend
Imagine some random tourist coming to your home/business in a sort of remote area...asks for all the bear then runs off into the woods with his camera yelling "SNAKE! SNAKE!".
hahaha
Hahahahahahah Kurt is amazing
I read this comment before I got that to part, and figured that you meant he was running away from a snake. No, a foreigners who just asked to buy all of your beer who then darts off into the woods with his camera after a snake. LOL
Your content has kept me non stop entertained for over a week now. Addicted!
I love how adventurous you are and how open you are to trying new things. I appreciate when you describe how things taste and the price of them.
I love the places I get to go with you!! I've watched all of your videos and feels like I'm right there too. Don't stop traveling and sharing with the world, you are making it a better place. Thank yoy.
