This man made me love rugby. What a legend.❤
This team had legendary players and he was one of them.
A real hero of mine. Thanks for everything, Rory.
The try against Scotland which started with a hospital pass from Morris to Barnes inside the England 22, to Carling, Guscott and finally Underwood is an absolute gem. Not a better bit of commentary for an England rugby fan than Bill McLaren saying "And Underwood goes!". A fabulous player playing in a tremendous England side. And a fine man to boot.
Toñi his brother finished I think mate ?
That's one of my all time favourite England tries, a thing of simplistic beauty.
Great try. I didn’t think Will Carling was involved directly in the move, but Jerry Guscott was “ going like a train…” before passing to Rory Underwood
And John jeffery inches away from splining Barnsey .
And ended with Armstrong landing on Underwood's kidneys totally unnecessarily.
Greetings from Dublin. What a hero and role model. Rory defined rugby in my growing up years and was an amazing sportsman and role model. So lovely to see this tribute to a great man
One of Englands finest ever wingers, and a great role model for the game.
Remarkable player. A true great
A truly remarkable player particularly when you think of the style of England at the time which was all about 10 man rugby. I genuinely believe he scored more tries per passes he received than any other player in the history of the game.
Every time he got the ball you felt something special would happen..Awesome player... True Legend of the game🏉🏴
What a great player!
Thrilling devastating player, humble man. As rugby should be
Brilliant - please do videos like this for more players of that era, such as Mike Teague, Peter Winterbottom and Wade Dooley,
What a player, what a gentlemen. Hats off Rory!⚘️
What a legendary player,I remember him perfectly, following England Rugby from 1991,with Great passion❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
That first try against France is my favourite too. Wonderful skill!
I love the camera view @ 2:10 when you can see the England fans on the terrace at Murrayfield celebrating even though he’s still about 40 yards from the try line.
So many great players in his time in the England team. I definitely remember how worried I was when we played England, they were a very classy side.
A time when we still had real heroes... this man was my hero! 🏴
What a player. Bear in mind that he scored a lot of those tries when we were not a great team and he got the ball rarely.
When he did he was electric.
What Speed Demon Rory was!! 🔥🔥🔥
Legend
True class 👌🏻
One of the great finishers of all time ....
Yep, them were the good ol' days when we used to score tries.
Chills… one of my youth heroes.
A great servant and representative of his country.
The Good old days
Hero❤
Was in the RAF....pah!
#fightwarnotwars
If I recall correctly, he was a bit of a nob to people when he was in the RAF. I suspect he regrets that now, given people can tell others the character when away from the spot light to ordinary folk.
A try scoring machine.
Amateur rugby player, who earned a living flying tornado fast jets what a player
Just imagine how good these from the amateur era would have been as full time professionals
The glory days of English rugby. White shirts, red rose, no advertising, day jobs. Simple.
We all said one day money would ruin the game, it did. Please do one on Mike Teague.
get him back in the team
I suppose the RFU have to hold onto historical events, because the reality is the way they manage rugby now events like these are going to be far and few between!
.
No footage.
It's just England not England Men's!!!
