The Self-titled album isn't even my favourite Slipknot album, but the people complaining about only S/T songs being played are kind of missing the point of the tour. It isn't solely just to play the album front to back because of some arbitrary anniversary. It's obvious that with not just the setlist but the stage set, outfits, masks, etc. that they're basically saying "we're time travelling back to 1999". So playing newer songs, even songs that I think are better, would basically ruin the theme and aesthetic they're going for.

My wife and I were there! 3rd time seeing them (best by FAR. OMG, they were on point!) 1st time for the wife Lost my shit when they played Scissors. I legit didn't think they'd bring that one back DUDE, they CAPTURED how fucked up this song was. In 99, it was an experience. In 2024, they captured it. Corey was awesome. I don't think he's ever sounded this great...when's he 50! He had some awesome guttural roars that I've never heard him do before Also, this video does no justice to what it sounded like (nothing against them) It just sounds so damn muddy when it wasn't. It's literally just bass rumble. I can't wait for their next album. I think they can bring back that fucked up aggression without Roadrunner calling the shots.
Thanks for the upload! Was there with my 13 daughter for her birthday! I was jumping so much when he said we won't be playing anything after 99! It was a blast from the past!!
Saw them in '98 for the first time and they literally played all these songs. This was amazing to see them re-do it all over again. Filled with all the nostalgia right now.
That one-two punch of "Get This" immediately followed by "Eeyore" has me in borderline tears. Look at Jim at 11:46. I know Slipknot hasn't gone anywhere, but I didn't know that there was a part of Slipknot missing until now. With Eloy taking command of the rhythm section and Corey, Clown, and Mick performing in the best physical shape of their lives, this feels like a comeback in a major way for one of the greatest metal bands of all time. The legacy of Paul and Joey is alive and well, and speaking as a fan for nearly twenty years, they have never sounded this tight or this powerful. Slipknot is not only back, but they're stronger than ever. This is magic to witness.
I guess that story about Diluted is true, 25 years later i dont think it was played live once. And now they do a show playing almost every song in the self titled album and still no Diluted.
I was there at the show. I’m pretty sure they did play it at the very end after this video ended. Slipknot said “now I’m taking you back to very very very dark place” and then went on to say this song has never been played at our shows. But it was kind of hard to tell cuz there was so much going on
Get This hasn't sounded this good since the recording. And Eloy's sledgehammer snare is finally challenged with Eeyeore. lol I really hope Corey's voice holds up, he's really close to what Steven Tyler recently announced.
Thanks so much for sharing brother. I’m going to their show in New Hampshire on Wednesday and seeing how amazing this show was, and all early songs, made me even MORE hyped than I already was!!

Thanks...
Greetings from chile 🇨🇱 broo thanks por the video
Are you going to record today's show (08/07) too, bro?
Thanks for sharing 🤘🏻
"Gimme a scream Indiana" was such a cool way to start Get This.
i was there and probably fucked up my vocal cords when he said that
@@tattered.andtorn lmao my vocals are gonna be FRIED after the MSG show
Wherever they play it, Corey changes this exact line to the location, because in the studio version, the background voice says “Give me a scream Corey”
Yeah yeah, we know....
Thats really not new.
I'm surprised at how good Scissors sounds live, even better than it sounded at the time, looking forward to this show in October in Brazil and November in Chile, thanks for uploading this. 🔥
Going to my first ever SLIPKNOT concert in Sept in Austin Tx. Cannot freaking wait man. Many work out sessions to my boys here. And they added Eloy. Come on.
Seeing Scissors being played again feels surreal. I might have to go see that
16:00 i've never seen jim headbanging like that, omfgggggg
sameeee bro hahaha jim its possessed .. Eloy make even more solid than song
2009 jim came out
@@unctacitus 2024 Jim came out
He has been headbanging like this since 2004 .-.
@@demonfromheaven_lmlye but not that fast
Seeing them this Saturday in Camden. Cannot wait!
The bass and drums capturing in Purity is just fucking amazing
Is it just me, or has Corey been in TOP form since they've been doing their OG stuff? I felt like he used to struggle more, but now the dude is on fire!
LOOK AT JIM HEAD BANGING LIKE CRAZY ON THE SONG GET THIS 11:45
Drugs are back
some fast windmills for sure!
Where?
@@halosakte1946i didn't see it too, but see another comment about this with the same timecode
@@marzip7489is at the start of get this
Eloy completely destroyed that set. His energy and stamina is unmatched. His drumkit sounded amazing. Props to the soundman. The whole band was on fire. Incredible setlist and performance!
Damn it's amazing to hear Scissors live again almost 25 years later
So many amazing shots. Incredible video.
Love to hear that you’re enjoying it! If possible, please consider sending a tip with the $ Thanks button on UA-cam. It’s the only way I can keep doing this for everyone. Thanks :)
Even the audience was sick in this, absolutely perfect.
59:07 insane vocals
11:25 the screams sounding this good during stage talk is part of what made the early shows so hype
My wife and I were there!
3rd time seeing them (best by FAR. OMG, they were on point!)
1st time for the wife
Lost my shit when they played Scissors. I legit didn't think they'd bring that one back
DUDE, they CAPTURED how fucked up this song was. In 99, it was an experience. In 2024, they captured it.
Corey was awesome. I don't think he's ever sounded this great...when's he 50! He had some awesome guttural roars that I've never heard him do before
Also, this video does no justice to what it sounded like (nothing against them) It just sounds so damn muddy when it wasn't. It's literally just bass rumble.
I can't wait for their next album. I think they can bring back that fucked up aggression without Roadrunner calling the shots.
I can't wait for the 'Get This' drum cam. 🥁
Eloy Casagrande es una máquina de batería 🔋🎉 muy poderoso de mis bateristas favoritos de todos los tiempos
Eloy is the best drummer out there dude plays without clicks and kick sensors no cheating for the goat. He’s an absolute power house of a drummer
O garotinho Eloy tá se soltando!!! 🤘🏿
Love the fact they have gone back to their original looks. Adds that nostalgic feel!
Cant wait to see this in iowa next month
What a show! Thanks for uploading 🙏🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!
I wait so long for EEEEYYYYOOOREEEE
Thanks from Perth Western Australia 🇦🇺🤘🫶❤️🖤👍
Still hoping they will play diluted - its the only song they've never played live (which is understandable since it's a very sensitive song for Corey)
Don’t think they ever will. This is as close as it gets to a show from 99.
Can u explain why?
@@muhfajar8468 It’s about his dad. Corey said many years ago that he’d never play that song.
I think this tour fully confirms that now
yes, it was the only one left out
@@renaato31bruh snap never gets love
Yeah. Corey did that song in one take and he broke down in tears in the booth. It's as painful to him as Daddy was to Jonathan Davis.
I was there at the show. I’m pretty sure they did play it at the very end after this video ended. Slipknot said “now I’m taking you back to very very very dark place” and then went on to say this song has never been played at our shows. But it was kind of hard to tell cuz there was so much going on
We need a live album so we can hear those songs with Eloy in good quality 🤘🏽
I agree I would love to hear this show with amazing quality
Get This hasn't sounded this good since the recording. And Eloy's sledgehammer snare is finally challenged with Eeyeore. lol I really hope Corey's voice holds up, he's really close to what Steven Tyler recently announced.
Thanks so much for sharing brother. I’m going to their show in New Hampshire on Wednesday and seeing how amazing this show was, and all early songs, made me even MORE hyped than I already was!!
I really appreciate it! Enjoy the show Wednesday!
This video is going to absolute numbers for your channel, good for you dude! thanks for the content
I appreciate it!
Ladies and gentlemen...this is the real Slipknot🤘☠

The best tracklist! I really got hooked! Real slipknot, without these lyrical songs! The final song touched my heart. Bravo!
