My dad recently passed away. I’m dealing with the grief of losing him, but also the ugly side of people who are purely greedy after the death of a family member. This song has become very inspirational to me over the past week. I lost my brother to gun viloence on June 26, 2010 and we just buried him four days before his 17th birthday. In all the pain that I've felt, the only thing that has given me hope for peace is that I will see him again in heaven. I just keep telling myself that I will get there. I'll do everything in my power to make sure that, when I die, God will except me "through to the other side" with my brother. I miss him so much.

I remember when this song first came out... I was just a freshman or sophmore in college and I was part of a singing quartet..... We did this song for a talent show, and when I tell U folks started crying and feelin this song in a way that STILL touches me to this day !!!!!
