It wasn't a great look, but in the early stages of a business, to support growth, they should be reinvesting 75% of the profits straight back into the business.
After watching for a while I love how here the Dragons don't start with the "don't listen to other offers" stuff but actually wait and compete on how good the offers are on their own and what they can add to the business.
The Sauce Sisters were one of the absolute safest bets I’ve seen in some time, between the awards along with recognition by Gordon Ramsay, the 50% margin, their established restaurant in Manchester, no bumps in the road to speak of… with all the manners in which investors waste not only their time, but opportunity, throwing money straight into the trash, these sisters are disciplined and have a brilliant product with lots of traction and positive cash flow. I’d rather park my money in their business than in an S&P index fund. In the end, the Dragons really took advantage of these ladies’ generosity, determination and lack of negotiating experience and/or skills.
