Blues Guitar Lesson - What Are Blue Notes? And Adding Them To Different Patterns

We often talk about the blues scale, but we don't often talk about the "blue" note and how we get it...
With a little knowledge, you can actually add not just one, but TWO blue notes to many different scales or patterns that you already know.

Sure enjoyed your show last Friday at the Guitar Sanctuary. I wanted to say hi but you were pretty swamped. Glad you call McKinney, TX home now. I'm self-taught from clear back in the mid-70's (yeah I'm an old guy). I bought my first acoustic guitar while serving in the U.S. Army in Germany in 1975. I still have it! I laid off guitar for about 5 years but have started playing again and have wanted to learn how to play tasty leads for a long time. I won't ever be fast, but I do want to 'say' something with my solos and improves. Your vids help a lot. Anyway, thanks again Griff. All the best!

The blues note are in between the frets called hidden notes based on the JUST Intonation system? blue notes aren't microtonal notes they are what types of notes?
