I don't agree at all with the second tier, Josh Allen has all the physical skills but he hasn't wone anything and he makes way to many mistakes to be called elite. He has elite athleticism, but he isn't an elite QB. IF Burrow was available to play more then he owuld be elite, but he is frequently injured and not available to play. Lamar has done nothing in the playoffs on a very good team and therefore is not elite. Much of the 3rd tier is a joke.
Lamar has a poor playoff record. But they will never put Purdy ahead of him, no matter how many playoff games he wins. And let's be honest, Jackson has a better coach and a great team.
Burrow on the Chiefs would be unstoppable, context matters. He should have done an Eli Manning. Yea, that 3rd down and 4 in the Superbowl was a huge mistake by the Niner's, they should have decided they were running the ball 2 plays in a row no matter what, if they didn't get a 1st down on 3rd. My issue is Lamar showed how elite he was on Christmas when we’ve been said our defense wasn’t the same tier or that it’s inflated stats but when they faced an elite defense. Jackson choked but when purdy struggled against the chiefs it’s a huge knock. For purdy to gain respect can’t struggle, can’t have weapons can’t lose, can’t have a bad quarter, can’t have a coach.
Only thing is, Purdy didn't struggle vs the Chiefs he just missed a few reads, but what QB doesn't do that. It was the O-line, Special Teams and defense that struggle for the most part vs the Chiefs.

I have watched many QBs over the years and I tend to be very skeptical of crowning them until they show their ability in many areas. Garoppolo and Smith were obviously EXTRAORDINARILY limited QBs despite what many 49er fans wanted to think of them. I have seen enough of Brock now to know that there is only one QB in the NFL that I would trade him straight up for. Maybe CJ Stroud at some point but the jury is still out on that until I have seen a bit more. He was playing with house money last year and could play loose and free with that. Purdy was put in charge of the Formula 1 car and there is a ton of pressure that goes with that.

If Trey Lance ever gets the opportunity that Jordan Love has in Green Bay, along with that much offensive talent, i think Trey would be a very similar QB as Love, they both have a very similar Skill Set, frame, Athletic abilities, and Arm, Trey just needs to go to a young rebuilding team, that has some talent and good future prospects, hopefully he will get that opportunity while he's still young, and still has some confidence left, before he's completely robbed of that.

I think that with another season under and at the studying how he plays, Lamar Jackson is likely not to be as successful this year as he was last year. 4 playoff wins and a trip to the SB in a year and a half, 2 of the playoff wins from behind, one down by 21 win. Played well enough in SB to win but the team fumbled away that game. Purdy is just 24.
My issue is Lamar showed how elite he was on Christmas when we’ve been said our defense wasn’t the same tier or that it’s inflated stats but when they faced an elite defense. Jackson choked but when purdy struggled against the chiefs it’s a huge knock. For purdy to gain respect can’t struggle, can’t have weapons can’t lose, can’t have a bad quarter, can’t have a coach.
Only thing is, Purdy didn't struggle vs the Chiefs he just missed a few reads, but what QB doesn't do that. It was the O-line, Special Teams and defense that struggle for the most part vs the Chiefs.

I have watched many QBs over the years and I tend to be very skeptical of crowning them until they show their ability in many areas. Garoppolo and Smith were obviously EXTRAORDINARILY limited QBs despite what many 49er fans wanted to think of them.
I have seen enough of Brock now to know that there is only one QB in the NFL that I would trade him straight up for. Maybe CJ Stroud at some point but the jury is still out on that until I have seen a bit more. He was playing with house money last year and could play loose and free with that. Purdy was put in charge of the Formula 1 car and there is a ton of pressure that goes with that.

If Trey Lance ever gets the opportunity that Jordan Love has in Green Bay, along with that much offensive talent, i think Trey would be a very similar QB as Love, they both have a very similar Skill Set, frame, Athletic abilities, and Arm, Trey just needs to go to a young rebuilding team, that has some talent and good future prospects, hopefully he will get that opportunity while he's still young, and still has some confidence left, before he's completely robbed of that.

I think that with another season under and at the studying how he plays, Lamar Jackson is likely not to be as successful this year as he was last year. Joe Burrow is likely going to get hurt because the Cincinnati Bengals are horrible organization that doesn’t know how to structure a football team. This arm talent thing is ridiculous. The QBs job is to get the ball where it is supposed to be, when it is supposed to be there and in a manner that is catchable. The really good ones throw the receiver open to set up YAC and inn a position that minimizes the risk of injury to the receiver. If the QB can to that the rest doesn't matter. How many QBs in the league did that better than Brock last year. Yes Josh Allen can throw with more zip and further down the field, but he also often throws uncatchable balls or hard to catch balls. I would take Brock ahead of Allen every time.
