  • Beware of traditional Catholics
Now, I'm not talking about real traditional Catholics, of course. but rather pseudo traditional Catholics. Many of the loudest apontants of traditional catholics claim to themselves be traditional catholics.
But they're really just Liberal Catholics. Liberal in the Catholic sense, not the Political sense. They don't support abortion, or so called same sex marriage or anything.
But liberals always use the same tactics. And one of those tactics is to usurp terms and redefine them.

I hope and pray that the Catholic church returns to the Latin Mass. I attend church every Sunday and I see things I don't agree with. We have an organ that hasn't been touched in years. I was and altar boy in the 1960's. I remember the traditional mass, but I especially remember the organ. Loud and powerful. I'll keep praying for the return of the Latin Mass. God help us all.

Sir, this is the first time I have seen your channel. I agree with your sentiments 100%. I , on my own, found the Latin Mass 5 years ago. I had left the faith for decades. The Latin Mass has drawn me back to the Catholic Faith. From the first moment I attended it, I was overwhelmed with its beauty and reverence. I can no longer attend Novus ordo, unless I am out of town and have no other option. To me, there is no comparison. With the Latin Mass, the priests I know that celebrate it, hold us all to the tenets of the Catholic Faith, with no exceptions. I came back to the Catholic Faith via the Latin Mass because I wanted to hear the truth. Deus Vult!

You are very correct in what you say. Again, this may sound uncharitable or even contemptuous but especially in Lofton's case, where he's on his 3rd version of Christianity now (finally the correct one), starting up a UA-cam channel and explaining the faith to the rest is a little ahead of his time and perhaps ill advised. I don't mean to attack his intellect or character or even his good will. At the same time, I don't think that a 3rd time convert out to be splaining the church to the rest shortly after joining it. Perhaps spend a little more time in the sandbox and then start lecturing. Lofton may get away with a lot of stuff talking to many lukewarm Catholics, but anyone how knows the faith remotely well can pick up on this guy very quickly. Dave Gordon, no comment. There was an interesting vid on Robert Sepher today that touched on it. He was a Rosicrucian, and it looks like his parents were of the Rothschild bloodline.
He threw out 7 books and altered massively what he left. KJV based their Bible on his.
I found out there were 7 2 gates of hell, one was in Heidelberg, Germany. Gate ll, demon of mind control.
Solomon trapped in demons under the temple where a gate is. The Templars (some of them) went there to get the power of the demons.
Luther removed the protections the Church had. Many of the properties of the Church were stolen by Luther's group. I saw some of the locations that were stolen were covered in sigils now.
He told the local nobility, if people don't convert kill them like mad dogs. Many Religious were murdered there. That can work as a blood ritual.
In the occult 9& ll mean to open the gates of hell. Those gates are in Germany. They get it from Rev 9:1-11. Interesting that the event in NYC where this buildings got taken out, was the exact place where Alister Crowley summoned number 71.
St John of Crete, or also called Fool for Christ saw these opened.
Gen Wesley Clark, 7 countries in 5 years. Each country had a gate. When we went into those countries the Christian population was laid waste, taking the protection with it.
The removal of the Mass removes much of our protection. We're about to be taken out here to open the gates here. Why traditional orders are being shutdown. Many are in very important locations
It's a long story, and took me decades to find all the people and info. But, too much to type. You'd better start praying hard. We're about to be taken out

It’s such a shame. I’m in the process of converting to the Church from agnosticism, and among all else I simply yearn for the authentic traditions of the Church, to be connected to that beautiful history. The Novus Ordo seems like an abrupt, forced departure from centuries of gradual evolution. My NO priest today proclaimed that God does not have a plan for humanity, and never has, during Mass to over 100 people in a confession that sounded almost deistic. He then went on to talk about free will and God having a purpose for us etc etc but it just threw me a little. I pray that the worldwide Catholic community starts to rediscover and revel in our true heritage once again.

I ended up going into Protestantism. I did more research, discovered the TLM, and came back. This is what I envisioned being Catholic is. The NO liturgy feels cheap and modernist with priests delivering watered down homilies either because this is what the church wants to be, or because they’re too afraid to lose parishioners. Pray for the church. St Athanasius was excommunicated 5 times fighting for tradition. We need strong spiritual fathers like him

I wonder why my diocesan Latin mass’s (London, Britain) largest family is 5? Granted this is anecdotal, it says something. My suspicion is because the mass is divided into two groups, one are old timers who came back from NO and new young people and couples who haven’t had time OR that there is still widespread contraception use. What do you think?

Ps. As an evangelical trying to become authentically Catholic I have a hard time with the smoking, drinking, cussing that seems to be prevalent on Catholic podcasts. Putting away vices was first on our list when we came to Christ. Vices and love for Him can’t occupy the same space of the “temple”. Maybe it’s an anti feminist thing to blow smoke in your wife’s face though she’s worked so hard to have a clean home and try to teach children to be wise. Maybe I never tasted any alcohol I thought was worthy of the risk except holy communion. For an alcoholic that might be a problem so glad church teaches all of Christ is in both kinds - bread or wine. Some don’t have perfect faith for the wine when they battle alcoholism.

I've been a Catholic all my life, and I'll admit that I am young and am unfamiliar, but not completely ignorant, of most of the terms used in this video. Is the Novus Ordo the Mass that is present after Vatican II said in the vernacular? Because I love the Latin Mass, I find it so beautiful, but I also see the merit of the Novus Ordo (if my understanding of it is correct). I'm not sure what the problem with the Novus Ordo is, and I was wondering what is it?

Since Traditionis custodes I have been educated on the TLM/NO issues. I go to a Diocese TLM often and prefer it over the NO. I guess I understand the Latin rite so the Latin Mass should be Latin argument. What I’m wondering is are the Eastern Rite Catholic Churches in the vernacular of the people? If they are why can’t we have more of the TLM in the vernacular to make it more appealing?

Is Islam prevailing there? If so, then this prediction is true but I would think it may need a hundred years to become reality. That is, if Jesus doen’t return first of course.

  • @Simplydarrell

The big problem i see is everyone wants the Latin mass but nobody takes the time to teach it or to learn Latin. I see the utility to it being in Latin everywhere because then you don’t have to have masses that are only in Vietnamese but then people also wouldn’t be able to wander into any Catholic Church for the first time and know what’s happening. I don’t get how such an obvious problem with evangelization could not be obvious. The Latin mass has been around since 1570 AD sure it’s old but the Maronite divine liturgy is obviously gonna be older and has been in Arabic since the 4th century; st Charbel was a Maronite. I understand people only know the Roman rite and aren’t super familiar with Byzantine Maronite Syriac etc but if we’re going with what’s oldest then among the Maronite eastern catholic masses or Latin masses the Maronite is going to be older. We aren’t supposed to be dividing up the church. I mean we got 24 different churches all working together and 6 different liturgical rites. It’s going to work out Matthew 16:17-19. If we went far back we would have masses in Greek with Hebrew translators and not ecclesiastical Latin but traditional Latin. The Latin we practice in the church now is different than what they had in the first three centuries. Paul said it best better to say 5 words understood than 10,000 words that are mysteries. If we’re pushing for the Latin mass we need to equally push for education methods for ecclesiastical Latin. I know how to say some prayers in Latin and I attend Latin masses but I didn’t grow up in the church so I’m taking Latin classes. Not everyone has time and patience like I do. We need to make methods to educate people on what’s being said, what’s happening in the mass, teach Latin, and properly catechize people otherwise they’ll just leave the church. If they don’t know what we practice and why that definitely will turn many away.

It's a common mistake, but the TLM did not originate with Trent in 1570. It was simply *codified* then, but it was already 1,000 years old.
For over 1900 years even illiterate peasants attended the Latin Mass, and understood what was happening. You don't need a classics degree to fully understand the Mass - eventually you get it, just like a baby eventually learns the language spoken in his home.
And in the meantime, there is a Latin-English missal available in every TLM, so you can read along.

    • @Simplydarrell
      @Simplydarrell 7 місяців тому

@@user-qu5ty1vx8b still younger than the Maronite Church. There were saints in many of the Catholic Churches and I’ve been attending it for a year pretty consistently. Sure there’s the missal but it’s really not as simple as depicted when you don’t have people there with you walking you through it because it’s silent most of the mass. I’m saying there’s an obvious blind spot in the fact that people aren’t learning Latin or being taught what’s going on at the masses. People hardly know their faith in English and are hardly devout in their native language, they’re poorly trained in the faith in English. These types of things are why people who leave the Catholic Church didn’t know it was about Jesus. There should be more guidance.

This channel gives good content, but it literally proves Eastern Orthodoxy. The argument that Rome has lost tradition proves Rome has lost the faith. Vatican 1 states that it can not happen, and it's an ecumenical council, so you have to accept it. This whole trad movement just proves Eastern Orthodoxy. I would love to talk to you about this but you won't. I'm up for it.

7:09 you make some pretty bold assertions about the SSPX and future bishops. Your analysis of the western schism and relating to our present situation is unclear. If I were to use that analogy and your assumption then the legitimate pope would have kept the papacy rather than elect a new one. The Tridentine mass as we know if it does come back will be changed. The mass has changed from the time of the apostles until now. I recommend reading the mass a study of the Roman liturgy by Fr Fortesque or some other book of your choosing. BTW I attend the TLM exclusively and not a NO troll. I am however getting tired of these arguments. Let’s let Jesus calm the storm and trust in Him.

Jesus founded ONE church, not 40,000 sects.
